Short and sweet ending

"Daddy?"

"What, baby?"

"Is hungry."

"Well let's go downstairs and have some breakfast, hm? What would you like?"

"Hm...we has waffles?"The little boy asks, being lifted into his daddy's arms.

"I don't know about waffles, but we can have pancakes. Would you like some pancakes?"

The small boy nods and lies his head on his daddy's shoulder.

"We'll make some pancakes, sausage, maybe some eggs, and I'll get you some apple juice, then we can go and watch some cartoons. That sound good to you, mister?"

"Is wanna watch Pooh Bear!"

"We can watch some Pooh Bear. We can watch whatever you want."

"Is Papa gonna watch too?"

"If he's up, I'm sure he would love to watch it with us."

"He's gotta wake him then."

"No, we don't have to wake him. He'll be up once the sausage starts to cook."

"Don't talk about me like that."

Troye turns around and smiles as Jacob walks into the bedroom.

Pecking Troye's head, he presses a kiss to their son's cheek making him squeal and attempt to pull away.

The couple laugh and decide to go downstairs to start breakfast.

"Here, Papa, take your son."

Jacob smiles and takes the three year old boy into his arms, "Hey, short stack."

"Hi, Papa," Kyle giggles.

"You wanna go watch cartoons?"

"Pooh Bear!"

"Let's go watch some Pooh Bear!"

Troye smiles as he pulls out two pans for pancakes and eggs.

After a few minutes, he hears Winnie the Pooh turn on.

He smiles wider when he feels his husband's arms wrap around his waist.

"My beautiful husband," Jacob mumbles in his ear.

"How about we send Ky to my mom's tonight and you and I can have some fun?"

"You mean Blue's Clues and sippy kind of fun or the...S-E-X kind of fun?"

"I meant the second one, but if you wanna age down that's perfectly fine too."

"We can do both. He'll be gone all night. We got time."

Jacob grins and kisses Troye's cheek, "I'll go call my mom."

Troye never thought he'd make it this far in life.

He never thought he'd find an amazing guy like Jacob let alone marry him and have a kid with him.

But here he was.

Making breakfast in his own kitchen at his own house with Winnie the Pooh playing in the living room being watched by his husband of 5 years and their three year old son.

He couldn't imagine a more perfect ending.
