A little later Meredith woke up to see Derek gone from the bed. She got up and went to the kitchen and saw Derek making waffles. He handed her a plate. She smiled and said "thanks for the waffles Derek!". "You're welcome my love" He said and kissed her forehead. Meredith smiled and said "Also I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Dr. Deluca before, I honestly never thought I'd see him again". He grabbed her hand and said "it's okay I understand Mer"
Meredith shouted from the front door "Derek I'll be back I need to go to the hospital". He shouted back "okay". Earlier in the day She called Andrew and said "we need to talk about what happened". They both agreed to meet up at the bar that evening after Andrew got off work. Meredith went to pick up the kids from school and surprise Derek with his favorite pizza from down the street. When she got home she told the kids to go to their room and get in their night clothes. When the kids went upstairs she said "Derek can you watch them tonight I have a few errands I have to run". He kissed her and said "of course baby don't worry about it".
