It was different.

He was being chased up a ladder.

Something followed him.

Heart racing, he looked up, seeing the hole. The way out.

He just had to last a little longer-

Snap.

It grabbed his leg.

It pulled him down.

Into the abyss.

Everyone met at the cafe again that morning. Rider was grumpy as usual. The only thing new though, was that Gloves and Goggles were missing.

"That's new" Emperor said, taking a sip of his drink.

"Wonder what happened..." Prince said quietly.

Rider was actually curious now. Did they have the nightmare too? Could they prove how big of a threat it was now?

"Maybe they got lost?" Nana suggested.

"I'll go look" Hachi said, standing up from his seat and heading over to the cafe entrance.

Just as he did however, Goggles and Gloves burst through the doors, both having dark eyebags under their eyes, though less severe than Rider's.

"Sorry we were...laaaaayyyte..." Goggles almost fell asleep on the door.

Hachi brought the two over to sit.

"We stayed up all......" Gloves yawned. "Niiight tryna.....find out who that was...."

"Who WHO was?" Rider said, interested.

"Th' shadow in the alleyway..." Goggles mumbled.

Rider's interest sunk some. It could've been anybody. But he continued to listen.

"Go on...?"

"Y'see.....it wasn't a normal person...." Gloves could barely keep himself awake.

"Continue...?" Flip said.

"It went....through walls....." Goggles said before falling asleep.

"Wh. What." Flip and Rider stared at them.

"Mhmm..." Gloves said, closing his eyes.

"No, I mean. Explain." Rider was VERY interested.

"Ah, riiiight..." and Gloves fell asleep.

Rider sat there.

No, he would NOT let this slip by. He clapped once loudly.

"WAKE UP!" He shouted, despite being tired too. (Thankfully they were the only ones in the cafe at the moment.)

The two shot awake.

"AAAAAGH! IT WAS HORRIBLE!" Gloves shouted.

"YEAH! NO INK!" Goggles added, also shouting.
