"Lee Su-Hye, the owner of the famous 'Lee Corporation' was reported dead, today at 10 am by the doctors. As we all know, she was shot by an assassin a few days ago and had to fight for her life in the hospital. The police is currently under investigation, we'll report back to you as soon as possible."

The news reporter in the TV spoke and was then closed down by you.You cried out more, letting the unstoppable tears out. You had been doing since you found out the harrowing news.

"Y/N!" You heard your best friend's voice just right behind you. You swiftly turned around. Hoseok hastily engulfed you into a warm and secure hug, which you agree comforted you.

"Don't worry Y/N. Halmeoni will get justice. We'll catch the criminal." He broke the hug and faced you, looking sincere.Just watching him gained you some confidence and hopes which you had lost at some point. You let out a genuine smile to which he returned one back.

By now, many police officers had surrounded around the ICU in to which your grandmother was admitted. The forensic experts were there too along with some news reporters. Everything was completely in turmoil. You had to stay out of the crime scene.You were busily thinking about something which distracted you from noticing the person in front of you.

His skin was pale. He had a small, skinny body and was as tall as your fiancé .He had a noticeable questioning look on his face. His uniform had way more badges than Namjoon's. Must be his superior.

"Do I need to repeat my question again?" He slightly frowned.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." You guiltily confessed. He heaved out a heavy sigh and opened his mouth once again.

"Are you Lee Y/N?" To which you nodded instantly.

"I am the head of the Seoul City Police Department. Since this case was not a assassination attempt but assassination, I have to handle it."

"Oh I see." You couldn't let out any more words, you were completely gone at this point.

"I send my condolences to your grandmother, I hope you'll corporate with us." Although at first sight you didn't like the man, he seemed quite polite. "I have to get going now." He bowed.

"Wait, I didn't get your name."

"It's Min Yoongi."

"What do you mean the CCTV footage was erased?" Yoongi slammed the table in front of him.He was absolutely furious. Just how on earth could the CCTV be erased?! His mind was intensely working in thought.The person who was in charge of the CCTV's in the hospital was trembling in distress when he watched Yoongi's anger only increase by seconds.

"Who payed you to erase this?" Yoongi pulled the guy's collar, though stating softly like a poisoned arrow shooting straight and perfect without a sound.But yet he wouldn't answer him.Otherwise, his family will die. No, he can't let that happen.

"Sorry sir, I was drunk that day. I deleted the clips by mistake." He falsely lied.

"You know it's not allowed right? To be drunk while you're working." The man nodded again slowly, awaiting his punishment as if almost testing him.

"I can let it slip if you tell me who paid you to do this." Yoongi tried to negotiate and push on.

"No sir. I said I was drunk."

Gosh, he's so stubborn. The officer thought.

"I wasn't there in the hospital at that time. I went home with my boyfriend."

"What about your mother then?" Namjoon asked.

"My best friend, Hoseok came to visit Halmeoni, and they were in the cafeteria at that time."

Namjoon wrote down what you were speaking.

"Thank you so much for the information."

After your grandmother's recent funeral, you only missed her more.

She used to cook for you although she was busy with business. You used to say everything to her. She was the first one to know about Jimin and your relationship. She was really important to you.

And now, she's gone, just like that.

"There was no one in the ICU or the lobby outside when the crime was committed. The CCTV footage of that particular day was deleted. No suspect, no evidence." Namjoon declared, starting to get a bit frustrated with the situation.

"We have no other choice but to hand him this case. He's the only one who can solve this case." Yoongi suggested.

"I thought so too. I'll call him right away."

Namjoon, who had remembered his contact number, he dialed it as quickly as possible.

"Hello."

But a female replied from the other side of the line.

It is his assistant. Namjoon thought.

"May I talk to Detective Kim Taehyung?"
