Magnus

Magnus?
Thursday; 11:24 p.m.

Are you there?
11:24 p.m.

Yeah, what's up?
11:24 p.m.

Nothing I just wanted
to make sure you
survived the party.
11:24 p.m.

That's cute xo
11:25 p.m.

It isn't.
11:25 p.m.

It is.
11:25 p.m.

Who knows what can
happen on parties.
What if you get raped?
11:25 p.m.

That's why I always
take friends with me.
11:25 p.m.

Usually I get drunk and
end up somewhere.
11:26 p.m.

My friends take care of me.
11:26 p.m.

Oh and how was
it last night?
11:26 p.m.

I was actually
pretty sober.
11:26 p.m.

Even Ragnor thinks
that's weird.
11:26 p.m.

Oh, at least
nothing happened.
11:26 p.m.

Were you worried? ;)
11:27 p.m.

Uh no, I mean
you're old enough.
11:27 p.m.

Yeah you're right,
I should probably
be worried.
11:27 p.m.

I don't drink.
11:27 p.m.

I know, but maybe
you will.
11:27 p.m.

You know I just wondered
how your voice sounds...
11:28 p.m.

Do you wanna call?
11:28 p.m.

Umm, are you sure?
11:28 p.m.

Sure, I would love
to here your voice :)
11:28 p.m.

Uh yes, of course.
11:28 p.m.

Nervous I sat in front of my phone and waited for it to ring. What if he doesn't like my voice?
Why would I even care? It was already late so I just lay in my bed.
Suddenly my phone rang and I saw his name on it. My heart started to beat faster. I picked up nervously.

„Hello?" he said. His voice seemed gentle. It was soft.

„Um hey." I answered. Why was I so nervous? I'm just calling with a friend from Florida.

„How are you?" he asked. I really liked his voice.

„I'm fine, what about you?" I asked.

„Me too." he answered.

„I imagined your voice different." I admitted. He laughed softly. As I heard him laughed, my skin tingled. His laugh was beautiful.

„You imagined my voice?" he asked giggling. Shit. I should have thought before I speak.

„Um no, I mean yes. Kinda." I admitted. Again he laughed softly.

„It's fine, how did you imagine my voice?" he asked.

„Well, I guess a little bit deeper, more manly." I explained.

„So I sound like I girl?" he asked. Shit again. Why can't I say my sentences right?

„No, your voice sounds soft, calmly. I could listen to it for a long time." I said. Tripple shit. That sounded cheesy.

„Thank you. I really like your voice too." he said. I also laughed softly.

It was weird but I actually hate to write messages. It was something different with him. There was no other way. I liked talking to him. I always looked forward to it. I always have this weird feeling in my stomach if we talk. I can't explain it.

„So, how was your school day?" he asked. I sighed.

„Just like always. I hate school." I answered.

„Oh come on, it can't be that bad." he said. If he would knew.

„You know I actually really like the lessons, because I love what I do. It's just, we have a lot of people I don't like." I explained.

„I thought you don't like people at all?" he said. I smirked.

„True, but some people are even worse." I said. „But nevermind, how was your day?" I asked. He sighed.

„Ugh don't even ask. I met Camille today." he said. Suddenly I felt this jealousy inside.

„Did you talk to her?" I asked.

„No, luckily not. I just saw her from far away. I'm just glad she didn't see me." he said. I was kinda relieved when I heard they didn't talk. What's wrong with me?

„Why don't you talk to her?" I asked.

„Because she did something that I can't forgive her." he said. I wanted to ask what she did, but I didn't. I felt like I don't have the right to.

„Oh okay." I just answered.

„Don't you have school tomorrow?" he asked.

„Um, yeah I do." I answered.

„You should better sleep." he said.

„I'd rather talk to you." I admitted. Again he laughed softly.

„We can talk another time again. I don't want to keep you awake." he explained. I sighed. I was tired, so it would be better to sleep.

„Okay, I'll talk to you tomorrow." I said.

„Good night, Alexander." he said. The way how he said made my skin tingle.

„Good night, Magnus." I answered and hung up. I put my phone away and closed my eyes.
