*Becky's POV*

The next day was going good. Well, so I thought. Carter had left early in the morning because he needed to get some things done before he had to work. So that left me alone while my parents are out doing some errands. So during the time I was by myself, I went around the house and cleaned up a bit. Yes, I clean when I'm bored. Gotta keep myself busy somehow, right? Once I was finished with everything, I took a quick shower and decided on just taking a nap to kill time. I just threw on some comfy sweats and a t-shirt and of course, some fuzzy socks. Which are my absolute favorite. I climbed into bed and soon, I was out. But that nap I wanted, didn't last long. About a half hour later, I got woken up by arguing going on downstairs. I groaned,  throwing my pillow over my head trying to block out the noise. Unfortunately, I had no luck because the yelling just got louder. I was going to just put my headphones on when I heard something being smashed against the wall. I got up from my bed and walked out of my room and towards the steps. I cautiously walk down the steps and stopped just as I reached the bottom. I looked over and wanted to scream at them both. I saw my dad pick up another drinking glass and toss it at the wall. I sighed walking over to them. Obviously they didn't know I was in front of them because they didn't even look over at me. Or maybe they did notice and they're just ignoring my presence. I rolled my eyes at that thought and spoke up. "What are you guys fighting about?" I asked, walking close to my mother. They both looked at me with annoyance in their eyes. "Just go back to your room Becky" my mom said, walking to the other side of the kitchen. I ignored what she said and asked the same question again. But this time, I regretted it. My dad came closer and closer with an annoyed and angry look on his face. "You heard your mother. This doesn't concern you" he said as he crossed his arms over his chest. I didn't listen, I just stood there crossing my own arms. "I just wanted to know what's going on" I said back. His face got angry as he yelled back at me. "GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW" I jumped at his sudden outburst. "DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO YELL AT ME LIKE THAT? I'M NOT A DAMN CHILD" I yelled back, this time I'm the one who's annoyed. The only response I got back from him, was an eye roll and him saying something I never wanted to hear. Like ever. No child should ever be told that. I shook off that that and backed up from where I was standing. I looked at my father with disbelief. I heard my mom say something, but I didn't want to listen. I just ran back up to my room and slammed the door shut. I leaned my back against the wall and slid down to where I was now sitting on the floor. I tried my hardest not to cry. But I failed at it. I couldn't help it.

I just can't deal with this shit anymore.
