Chapter 5: To The Moon And Back

*Becky's POV*

Right now, it was one of those days that I'll have where Carter and I would just sit back in bed and just chill. I was all cuddled up to him, until I moved. I wanted to get something to drink cause my throat was dry. I was halfway to the edge of the bed, when he got me. I giggled. "Where you going?" He asked. "I'll be right back" I said, trying to escape his arms. When I did, he grabbed my hand, refusing to let go. I glared at him. "Let me go" He chuckled shaking his head. "Nah, I'm good" I giggled. "Carter let go" I laughed. He smiled shaking his head at me once again. He still wouldn't let go. "Nope. Ain't no way I'm letting my girl go" I blushed a little, but then shrugged it off before speaking. "Ugh. You're impossible" I spat. He laughed before speaking. "Yeah, but you love me"  I smiled, there's no denying that. "Maybe...." I trailed off, playing around. But immediately, I regretted it. The look on his face, he looked defeated. Well, he let go of my hand. But now I just feel like crap. It was only a joke. I didn't mean it. He started moving away from me, but I stopped him. I quickly jumped into his lap, and held his face in my small hands. He looked at me, and I just wanted to cry. "I didn't mean that" I said, searching his eyes. sadness and hurt. That's what I saw. "Why'd you say it?" He asked, his voice was low. "It was supposed to be a joke. I'm so sorry. I do love you. I always will" I told him, hoping he would believe me. It's true though, I do love this boy more than anything. Finally, I got a smile out of him. And right after, I felt his hands on my waist. He looked at me with that cute smile of his. I leaned my forehead against his, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I love you" I said. He chuckled. "To the moon and back?" I giggled. "To the moon and back"

But I love him way more,
than just to the moon and back.
