It rings a few times before going to voicemail.. I call one more time but he doesn't answer. My mom calls my name so I walk back into the dining room to sit down to eat. As Everyone talks and eats I begin to wonder what happened to Adym.. he's never ignored me and he did have a couple blunts and beers last night so I wonder if something happened.. after I finish eating I quickly wash whatever dishes are in the sink and put them away.
"Sorry to be rude but mom, my friends sick and texted to see if I can bring her a couple things. Do you mind if I quickly do that and come back?" I ask my mom
She gives me a quick look like she's lowkey mad I'm asking to leave but reluctantly she agrees to it and let's me go.
Micah gives me a look as I head for the stairs so I stop, "Do you think Micah could drive me?"
By the fake smile on my moms face I know she's Even more mad because Micah's going too while we have company over..
"Go ahead" She plasters a fake smile on her face, "be quick"
"I will" I smile and quickly go change clothes

Once I'm changed I meet Micah in his car and we drive to Adym's.
"So do you want me to wait or can I go pick up something real quick?" He asks, "I'll only be about 15 minutes"
"Okay That should be enough time" I say
Micah parks across the street from Adym's so I can get out.
"Text me if you need me to come sooner" he adds
"Got it. See you in a few minutes" I shut the door
In front of the house is his dads car but I don't see his moms. I don't know whether or not to knock since his parents don't know about us so I climb the tree. As I reach the top of the tree I see Adym putting stuff into his closet. I quietly knock which causes him to jump. When he turns and sees me he immediately runs to the window with a smile.
"Hey sorry I didn't know whether or not to knock On the front-"
Before I can finish talking Adym interrupts me
"Thank god you're okay" he pulls me inside
"Yeah in fine" I hug him, "What's up I haven't heard from you all day? Are you okay?"
Adym sighs, "Sorry I just got home.. I haven't had my phone since I got home last night. It's been a long day.."
"What's wrong?" I search his face for an answer
"When those dogs chased us out of the yard I ran the other way and hopped the fence. I thought since other kids were running I wouldn't get caught but I did since kids were running the opposite way and I lived in the other direction.. so I basically got taken home in a police car and they woke up my parents to explain what happened-"
"Oh my god baby" I feel bad
"My parents were pissed and the police officers wanted a drug test and I was fucked since I had like four or five beers and two blunts.. so now my parents grounded me and unhooked my tv and took my phone, laptop, etc soo until further notice I can't go anywhere or do anything.. I cant even drive so my dads dropping me off at school and my parents are requiring a drug test every morning and night because they don't trust me.. really it's my mom since she was scared and mad that I snuck out instead of asking. But in my defense she would've said no. my dads pissed but understands that it was a party and he did it too. He's just worried about my safety and what's gonna happen at school" he explains
"What do you mean at school?" I ask
"The police are telling the school so they can crack down on everyone For their safety.. they also told the neighbors about me 'trespassing' in their backyard but they didn't press charges they just wanted to know I was safe. The police asked who else was hopping fences but I said it was just me.." he adds
"Damn" I run my fingers through my hair, "Are you gonna get in trouble for underage drinking or anything?"
"No but only because I didn't provide it but they do want me to participate in 24 hours of some drug free teen thing just to be safe" he replies
"I'm sorry all this shits happening" I kiss his cheek
"It's okay I guess" he sighs, "I'm just glad you're safe.. I'm kinda bummed though because I wanted to tell them about us dating but I don't know now since so much is going on.. I just don't want them to think you're associated with any of that"
"Can I do anything for you?" I offer
He shakes his head, "no babygirl I'm fine.. I prolly won't see you much after school"
"Okay" I hug him
As we hug I feel him squeeze me tight before kissing my cheek, "fuck I'm so glad you're safe. I was scared you guys got caught."
"I'm so sorry you got caught" I mumble into his chest
"I'm okay baby don't worry about me" He plants a few kisses on my neck, "I love you"
"I love you too" I feel my face heat up
"I'll try and sneak out soon but for now I can't 'cause they're gonna check on me at night so I can't lock the door" he explains
"No don't" I say, "You're gonna get in more trouble and I don't want that to happen"
"we'll see" he shrugs
His arms wrap around me before lifting me up and placing me on his desk while kissing my neck.
"We have some time, my parents think I'm taking a nap" he smirks
As he says that I feel my phone vibrate
"I gotta go" I check my phone, "Micah's here to pick me up"
"Fuck" he breaths, "I'd walk you home later but you know.."
"It's fine" I kiss his cheek, "I love you, bye"
"I love you too" He sighs as I climb out the window
