It's complicated part 2

Chapter 27

Monday

For some reason I wake up at 6 am and I can't go back to sleep so I get up and make breakfast for myself. While I eat I go on Instagram and Snapchat. After breakfast I do some dishes before doing my makeup and getting dressed. By the time it's 7:45 I'm on my phone waiting for Micah. Pretty soon he comes downstairs with his backpack on,

"Morning"

"Morning" I smile and stand up

"You ready?" He asks

I nod, "I'll drive."

"Imma grab an apple real quick" he heads into the kitchen.

As we drive to school Micah's pretty quiet but I don't say anything about it. The only thing playing is Can't by SOB X RBE. Honestly if he's not joking around and laughing he's usually lost in thought. I'm not really surprised about him being quiet seeing how we leave for LA soon and he's deciding what he's gonna do after summer ends.

"We should go to a party tonight" he looks at me

"Who's?" I ask

"A friends" he replies, "Remember Austin from math?"

"Yeah" I glance at him

"There's a party tonight at 7 till whenever. There's one tonight and tomorrow but I know we leave tomorrow so you can go get diego.. since tonight's our last night you probably wanna hang out with your mom so I'll give you guys time-"

"You're part of the family to you know" I say, "You can hang out with us. Totally up to you but I'll probably go to the party afterwards."

"Okay I guess I'll hang out with you guys and do the same." He replies

We pull into the school parking lot and walk into campus. Immediately the girls come running over and hug me.

"One more day and we won't see each other for a month" Ariel pouts

"I wish you could come" I tell her

"Me too." She smiles

"But you'll have fun this summer" I say

Soon the bell rings and we all walk to class. Since it's the second to the last day of school the teachers let certain juniors and seniors go to other classes depending on their behavior. Meanwhile Micah and I are waiting for the teacher to let us go. After taking attendance they let Micah and I along with a few others, go.

"Where are we going?" He asks

"I think we're all supposed to meet at Yasmine and Ariels class." I reply

As we walk over to Yasmine and Ariel's class everyone else catches up with us. Adym walks over and hugs me from behind, "I love you"

"I love you too" I smile

"Wanna take a walk?" He asks

I watch as the group continues walking, "yeah"

He smiles and takes my hand as we walk the other way and head for the football field, "come on."

We reach the football field and head for the bleachers. Adym helps me up to the top of the bleachers where we sit and talk.

"I love you" he takes a deep breath, "I'm ugh.. I'm really gonna miss you but I know you'll be back.. right?"

"Right" I reassure him, "I'll be back before you know it. I'm gonna miss you a lot too."

"I um.. I really hope we don't grow apart you know I hope the popularity doesn't get to your head or something and you realize you can do better." He looks down at his shoes

"Adym I love you so so soooo much and I'm happy with you" I squeeze his hand, "I'm not gonna leave you just because I took up a modeling job."

"You could do better though.." he mumbles

"Adym you make me so happy and I swear to god if I could take you I'd so bring you with me." I try to reassure him.

Adym pulls me closer and hugs me. I hug him back tightly as we stay in each other's arms. We let each other go and Adym sighs again,

"It's really hitting me now that tomorrow is the last day we're a junior. Next year is our last year in high school.."

"I'm honestly excited for the future" I beam

"Honestly Tori I know you're going places and I mean I don't even know what I wanna do still. Like if I started YouTube.. shit.. would people even watch me? It's probably gonna be a big joke." Adym draws figure eights on the palm of my hand.

"Don't say that. Try it. You never know what might happen." I shrug, "Try making one today or something."

"And do what?" He chuckles

"Do pranks or challenges or something." I reply, "You're good at being funny and making people laugh."

When he doesn't say anything I continue, "Please.. just try it. Figure out what works and what doesn't."

"Okay.. I guess it'll keep me busy" he gives me a small smile.

We lean on each other as we talk about everything and anything. Suddenly we see a teacher walking across the football field and that's our cue to go.

Adym looks at me as we rush to stand up, "Come on."

He grabs my hand and pulls me down the steps and we manage to hop the gate under the bleachers. Next we hop the other gate to reach the baseball field in order to run through the track and PE area to reach the gym. As we come closer to the gym we look behind us to see the teacher trying to unlock the second gate to the baseball field. Luckily the door to the gyms open and we run through a group of freshman girls as they're all doing some activities.

"Sorry" we apologize and run out the other door into the main quad.

We finally head back to the group, completely out of breath while holding hands.

"Where'd you guys go?" Dylan asks
