You sat on the marbled bench watching Claude practice. He was form was absolutly perfect as he shot the arrow into the bull's eye. You clapped, making him dramatically bow. You laughed as you stood up and you two walked towards eachother. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him,
"Thank you,princess." you hum in response. The two of walked about on the campus talking about classes and many other topics. It had been awhile since you guys were able to go out together like this. Your schudeule had been stacked to the brim with prep for upcoming tests and work. Claude, oh boy, his father was on him constantly about training and preparing him to be future king. You could tell that he wasn't happy, but you had thought that it was you. You constantly worried so much so, your grades were slipping. You had hid it from Claude, afraid he'd end it all there even though you knew he wasn't like that at all .
"Something on your mind, y/n?" he asked you sitting down next to you on a near by bench.
"Just stressed, is all." You had tried to brush him off,
"Let's talk about it; get off of your mind," he offered, making your breath hitch.
"I'm surre it might help.." He seemed to notice your hesitation,
"Y/n, its okay. You don't have to, I just of--"
"I don't to break up, Claude." You whispered staring at the ground. You vision got blurry as the salty river flowed from your eyes.
"Y/n, I--" you shook your head,
"It's so damn hard, for you especially, this I know." You cried out. He wrapped an arm around you,
"Don't worry about me, I'll be just fine as long you stay by my side. I don't want these thoughts going through anymore, I don't want you upset because of some silly thought. I won't break up with you ever, I mean it. I love you, Y/n, I truely do and I will never ever love anyone except for our children the same." you leaned into him, releasing the tears.
"When we first got together I thought you were so beautiful, and saw how great you were at your studies, I thought about only selfishly being able to use your ability to help succeed my own. But before long, I got to know you for who your really are and what I really wanted. I wanted to be able to see a new world with you.....with you by my side. I love you. With everything I am. " He kissed your wet cheek,
" I love you, Claude."
