Nathan's POV
I watched as the fox scent his way towards me. I noticed as it moved its ears turning them when a sound away or how it shifted direction when it scented a bear trap. What I didnt get was why it didn't just see the bear traps, but then again it could be blind.
While I was in my thoughts I saw a bear trap directly in front of the fox and barked as to warn it, but instead it jumped landing it's right hind leg in a bear trap.
It fell over with a third and I padded over to it, avoiding the bear traps. I then realized that the bear trap was made for werewolves and shifters, meaning it had wolvesbane, silver, and a poison harmful for shifters.
I then shifted into my human form and carefully pried the bear trap's jaws apart and watched as the fox carefully pulled its hind leg out of its bloodied jaws. I then let it snap shut and realized the the fox blacked out.
I picked it up felling bad that it was hurt due to me warning it about the bear trap. I then walked through the snow covered forest with the fox carefully in my hold.
When I reached the edge of the forest I quickly located my clothes and got dressed. I then headed into the clearing walking to the pack house.
