When Teamwork Doesn't Work

No one's POV:

[At Manaka and Rei's location...]

"Careful Manaka..." Said Rei while looking up at her as she slowly climbed the huge tree not letting the flower out of her site.

"Don't worry...just keep your guard up for any danger."

"Gotcha."

A few moments later Manaka was just a branch away from the flower but suddenly a huge crow came out of no where and scared her making her lose her balance and fall.

'I think it's the end for me 😫' she thought but she didn't feel the ground or the grass when she landed.

"H-Huh?" She whispered as she slightly opened one eye to check if she's still alive or is this Heaven or Hell...

'Wow....maybe I did survive the fall after all...but...where is Rei?' she thought as she searched her surroundings.

"Hey Rei? WHERE ARE YOUUU??" She yelled.

"R-Right here...." she heard a voice from below her so she looked downwards to find Rei laying on the ground with her on top of him.

So.....yeah....Manaka fell right on top of Rei....he he.....

"Rei?! What are you doing laying on the ground?" She asked stupidly.

"That's because a certain someone fell on top of me all of a sudden." He said.

"O-Oh....hehe....yeah....sorry 'bout that."

"Sure But...CAN YOU GET OFF OF ME?!" He yelled as she quickly got off his back.

Rei quickly stood up and glared at Manaka..."You broke my back!" He yelled as he stretched his back.

"Huh?! What does that mean?! Are you implying that I'm heavy or something?!" She yelled back.

"Yes." He simply said as he crossed his arms against his chest.

"I DARE YOU TO SAY THAT AGAIN!" Manaka glared at him.

"YOU ARE HEAVY!" Rei said again unconcerned.

"THAT'S RIGHT! IDIOTS DO WHAT THEY'RE TOLD!" She scoffed at him.

"ARE YOU CALLING ME AN IDIOT?!"

"YOU BET I AM!"

"WHY YOU LITTLE...."

[Ok let's just go to Hira and Rufus' location....]

"Why do I have the feeling that we're walking in circles?" Asked Rufus with an expression that says: I'm so done with this place...

"Hmm...maybe we should track where we go..." Suggested Hira as she took a small rock from the ground and marked a nearby tree with it.

"Good....now we can continue to search for that special tree." Said Rufus kind of satisfied.

[To the north of the mountain where Leon and Erika are...]

"I....think I've got it......just...a little further
.....nghh....c'mon...." Whispered Leon

"Yes....go deeper Leon...." Said Erika

"It's too difficult....I....can't....."

"Just push yourself upwards a little more."

"Erika...."

"Hm?"

"I CAN'T GET THE DAMN FLOWER WITH A DAMN STICK!"

"DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER WAY?" She Yelled.
