A Rough Landing

No one's POV:

"SKYLAAAAR!!" They all yelled as soon as they couldn't see her anymore.

Mika dashed, faster then anything, after Skylar hoping to catch her, not thinking of whether she'll get hurt or anything. She only thought of saving her best friend's life.

Everyone was scared to death but luckily, Manaka, in a blink of an eye, materialised a huge net that caught the frozen Skylar as well as Mika barely at the last second!

The rest have ran to the edge of the rooftop, looking down at their two friends with worried faces but sighed a sigh of relief when they saw them caught in Manaka's magical net.

Finally the tension had levelled down a bit, knowing that Skylar is safe.

But when they turned around, Elijah was already gone...

"DAMN HIM!" Atsui yelled while punching the wall, "He took all the ruckus as a chance to escape!"

"That filthy coward..."Gray gritted his teeth as anger was seeping from his words, "...he didn't just run away...he ran away WITH MY BROTHER'S BODY!" He also punched the wall.

Meredy patted his shoulder for comfort, "Don't worry Gray, we'll get Rei back safely." she smiled at him as he calmed down and smiled too, appreciating her concern.

"*sigh* Let's get down and help Skylar and Mika first...then we can go look for that imposter before he does something crazy again!" Manaka shouted as the rest nodded and headed back downstairs and outside to the campus.

"SKYLAR! MIKA!" Yelled Gray while they were all running towards the direction they fell, "ARE YOU GUYS ALRIGHT?"

"YEAH!" Mika yelled back, "BUT I THINK SKYLAR NEEDS HELP!"

Manaka snapped her fingers as they both fell down to the ground while Mika whimpered in pain.

"Skylar's frozen solid...can ya melt the snow down Atsui?" asked Mika while standing up and looking at Atsui.

Atsui nodded as he adjusted his palms towards Skylar's body and started producing heat.

"Careful not to over do it." Leon reminded him and he nodded as he concentrated on controlling his magic.

Little by little they could see Skylar's body begins to soften and return to its original colour as she started to move her eyes first, then her mouth, which started shivering, then a bit more and she could move her limbs and finally, when Atsui finished, Skylar was able to move again all her body but she was so cold and her legs were wobbly that she almost fell but Leon caught her in time.

"Th-Thanks guys-s..." she said trying to smile although her body was feeling a lot of pain from the piercing coldness.

Erika's POV:

Elijah was no where to be found in the academy after what happened. And of course non of us had the sense of will to attend the afternoon classes.

We kept searching for Elijah all day long until it became dark so we decided to head home and wake up tomorrow early to look for him again. We can't let him do as he pleases, especially with Rei trapped inside his own body with no control over it.

I'm sure Gray must feel awful for his twin brother...

But I also know that Rei isn't someone to mess with easily, Rei is one of the strongest people I know...

He's not just any snow mage...

He's a member of The Band Of 7

And I know he can overcome Elijah's evil powers!
