" it's been three days and he hasn't woken up" Levy sulked
"Its okay"
"Its not okay! Porlysucia said that if he doesnt wake up in 2 hours, to give her a call! It's been three days!!" Levy yelled
"Levy, calm down. I think that she miscalculated and said two hours. He'll be fine." Lucy said
"...ok.."
"Watcha guys talking about?" Cana asked, who seemed to come out of nowhere.
"Nothing!" Lucy quickly said
"Oh really? I bet you two were talking about the demon, weren't ya?" Cana questioned.
"Yeah..." Levy said, her eyes looking around the guild, as if she were looking for the demon.
"You don't have to worry, Levy."
"What?"
"You don't have to worry about the demon, I saw him earlier" Cana said
"Is he awake?" Levy asked desperately
"No, but he's breathing and his heart is beating" Cana said, sad that she couldn't tell Levy that he was awake
"At least he's breathing again" Lucy tried to cheer her small friend up.
"That means that he's getting better and that he'll wake up soon, right?" Levy asked with dull eyes.
"Yep!"
"I'll just be patient and when he wakes up, I'll bombard him with hugs!" Levy exclaimed, eyes no longer dull.
"That's the way, Levy!" Lucy hugged her bestie.
Levy giggled as Lucy hugged her.
By this time, Cana had already left to check up on the demon once again.
"LEVY!!" Cana came running back
The two girls broke their embrance almost immediately when they heard Cana yelling.
"What?" Levy asked, panic starting to take over her body.
"It's E.N.D!!" Cana panicked
"What?!?!" Levy screamed
Levy and Cana ran to the infirmary, leaving Lucy behind.

The two girls ran to E.N.D's infirmary bed.
Both saw that he was struggling to breathe, almost as if someone was choking him.
Soon enough....he stopped breathing
"Is his heart still beating?" Cana asked worrisome
"Yes, but he's not breathing..." Levy whimpered
"Force air into his lungs, Now!!" Cana demanded
Levy walked to his face, she started to lean closer to his lips.
Their lips connected, his lips warmer than hers.
She started to force air into his lungs.
After a while, the demon was breathing
By himself thanks to the bookworm.
Though the bookworm could just faint right here and now, as she had just "kissed" her crush.
Yes, she has a crush on the demon.
But the demon doesn't.
Or does he?
Only time will tell.
-------- E.N.D's POV
I have been walking in this forest for quite the while now.
I stopped walking and took a look around me.
Everywhere I stepped, flames followed.
They burned the trees, plants, animals. Basically anything that could be in a forest was burned.
Why is this happening?
I was sealed right?
Right?
I stopped asking myself questions, as I continued to walk, the flames still following.
I uncounciously started crying. Why? I dont know.
Maybe it was because I had killed millions before I was caught, or....
Because I was a monster.
A monster that held no feelings against killing and devouring innocent people.
Or
Was it just because I had a friend?
A friend who actually cared about a monster.
Was she my friend? Or was she faking it?
I pondered on the subject a little more, until I came into a clearing. A clearing filled with small, gentle animals.
This was when I noticed, I was in my etherious form.
I also noticed that my flames died down.
Feeling that it was safe to approach, I sat down on the edge of the clearing, back leaned against a tree.
I was still crying, but these werent normal tears....they were tears of blood.
Black blood.
As soon as the animals noticed me, they hid behind bushes or trees.
Except for one small, blue kitten
Instead of staying in place, it ran.
It ran to me.
It ran as fast as its little legs could take it, and hopped onto my lap.
I immediately recognized the small kitten.
Happy.
Though, why was he a kitten?
I don't know.
--------------back in the infirmary
"He seems fine to me" Cana commented.
"......yeah....." Levy answered, staring at her crush's closed eyes.
As soon as Levy has said something, E.N.D's olive eyes fluttered open.
"..!."
