Chapter 2: The Massacre

The pack survey their surroundings. Seeing nothing but blood and bodies everywhere

Nick: I can't believe Jeremy did this

Elena: That wasn't Jeremy. He would never do this and turn on Clay like that

Logan: You think you can track that thing?

Elena: I'll have to get to that cage to find out

Nick: We'll clean up while you take a look

As Nick, Peter, and Logan fully undress, they change into their wolf forms and start dragging the bodies away. Elena goes over to the cage which was on fire now. There was no way she'll be able to track the werewolf from that

Elena: Dammit

She goes over to the broken gate and sniffs it. She senses you by a lake licking the blood off your paw but then you suddenly look in her direction then run off

Elena: Found you

She runs after you. One of the wolves from her pack sees her then howls

A couple of minutes before the howl...

Antonio, Clay, and Jeremy go inside the house

Jeremy: Someone tell me what happened!

They take him to his office

Clay: Jeremy you need to calm down

Jeremy: Calm down? Did I murder those people?

Clay looks down. Jeremy looks at Antonio who gives him this sad "yes you did it" look

Clay: They're taking care of it

Jeremy knocks things off his desk then starts crying. They hear the howl. Antonio and Clay look at each other

Clay: I'll go check it out

Antonio: Clay you're injured

Clay: I'll be alright just take care of Jeremy

He runs out then out the front door. Antonio goes over to Jeremy and puts his hand on his shoulder. Jeremy grabs it

Antonio: I'm going to grab you some clothes okay?

Jeremy nods then Antonio leaves, leaving Jeremy to cry some more

Back in the woods...

Elena was chasing after you. Even with the distance advantage she was still catching up to you. You yourself couldn't believe how fast she was but you were quick to lose her. You were in her sights then suddenly you were gone. Elena stops where she last saw you and looks around

Elena: Where did you go?

She tries smelling your scent as she walks around. She didn't know that you were above her, your claws gripped into a tree while watching her. Your instincts want to attack her but you don't want to make enemies with them so you just watch and hope she doesn't spot you. Usually your kind attacks anything and anyone without hesitation. You on the other hand could control it. You weren't a violent person or a killer but if you were in that situation, you'd kill to protect yourself unless silver gets in the way and you have to rely on Alphas to help you. Sad but true

Clay: Elena

She looks

Elena: Clay what are you doing here? You should be with Jeremy

Clay: You're going after that werewolf?

She ignores him and gets ready to walk but he grabs her by the arm

Clay: It's suicide if you go by yourself

She pulls away from him

Elena: I can take care of myself. I don't need your help. It's you who needs to take care of yourself

She looks at his hand but he ignores it

Clay: You may not want my help but you need this

He takes out a syringe. It sets off a traumatic vision in your head and you growl. Their eyes get wide as they both look up and see you. You jump down from the tree then stand like a human while growling at them. Oh yeah when it comes to needles, forget everything about controlling yourself. Whoever is wielding a syringe is an enemy that must die. You were a lot taller than both of them combined which made them more afraid even if they weren't showing it. You start walking towards them as they back up

Elena: Clay

Clay: I know darlin...NOW!

Elena runs over but you smack her, making fly across and hit a tree

Clay: Elena!

He runs at you as well, lifting his hand to inject you but you quickly grab his arm then lift him up off his feet while roaring at him. Elena jumps on you from behind. You immediately drop Clay and try getting her off. She bites your ear. You let out a whimper then slam against a tree. She doesn't let go so you do it again. Clay runs over but you claw his chest, leaving a a big mark on him. He yells then falls to this knees. Elena gets mad from that and bites the back of your neck. You roar then you yet again slam against the tree. Elena falls to the ground and starts crawling, you bite her on her shoulder. She yells

Clay: No!

The scratch mark was too deep for him to get up and help her. The rest of the pack come. One of them bitting your hand as you pull away from them and growl. Clay crawls over to Elena. She's groaning in pain

Clay: Stay with me darlin?

She sees the blood dripping from chest as his shirt soaks with blood

Elena: You're bleeding again

He smirks

Clay: When has that ever stopped me?

She laughs then grabs his hand tightly

Elena: It... hurts...

Clay: You're not dying on my watch you hear me? We'll leave when the ways clear

She nods. They surround you with growls and make you back away from them

Clay: Nows our chance

He picks her up while groaning, forcing himself to get up then runs off with her. Logan follows them. You decide enough damage is already done so you run off. They surprisingly don't chase you. They instead follow the others back. You run far far away from that side of town and make your way to one of your safe places, a waterfall. You go into a tunnel to where the waterfall is. The sound of it makes it sound proof and scent proof. You were in your own cage. Knowing the close is clear, you change back into your human form. Once you fully turn, you fall to the ground letting out pained sounds

You: Fucking bitch man

You put your hand on the back of your neck

You: Got me good

you crawl over to a medical kit and grab it then wobbly make your way to a mirror where you stitch and bandage your ear, arm, and neck. You grab the back of your neck and groan as it still hurt. You go inside a little tunnel where your bed was and lie on it

You: That was one hell of a day
