While that was happening...
Jeremy, Elena, Nick, The Sheriff, and the hunters are still walking around in the woods
Sheriff: Are we almost there yet Braxton? Been walking here for awhile now
Braxton: It's uh...further down this way
Jeremy: It's obvious we're lost
Braxton: We're not lost, it's just a very long way that's all
Jeremy, Elena, and Nick all look at each other with an annoyed look
Braxton: My dog will find it. Find the bodies boy
He takes the leash off the dog. The dog takes off as they follow him. He gets way ahead of all of them. You were actually where the bodies were. They were in a deep hole and you threw the bodies of the two men in there with the others. You then start using your claws to bury them with the dirt pile next to it. The dog comes and starts barking at you
Braxton: He found it!
They all start running. You look at the dog and roar at it. Everyone stops
Hunter: The hell was that?! A bear?!
Other Hunter: That don't sound like any bear I've heard
Jeremy looks at Elena and Nick. He gives them a nod to confirm it's you
Braxton: Shit my dogs over there!
He starts running
Sheriff: Where the hell do you think you're going?!
Braxton: That's my dog! I'm getting him!
Jeremy: We should follow him
Jeremy starts running as everyone else does the same
The dog gets scared and runs back while whimpering. You quickly finish up then leave by climbing the trees. The dog passes everyone. They all stop and watch
Braxton: God damn dog. Show them where the bodies are. I'll be right back
He chases after his dog
Hunter: Well you heard the man, let's go
Sheriff: There is a bear over there! We're heading back
Hunter: No disrespect Sheriff but we have guns to and we have to show you the bodies. It's just over there
Both hunters get their guns ready as they start walking up ahead to where the bodies were. The Sheriff takes her gun out as well while looking at Jeremy, Elena, and Nick
Sheriff: You three stay behind us just in case
They nod then let the hunters and Sheriff walk in front of them. Once they get to the sight, the hole was covered and there was no bears or animals in sight
Sheriff: All clear
They all lower their weapons
Hunter: It was right here
Jeremy: What was?
Hunter: The bodies. There was a hole and they were lying in there
Other hunter: Are you sure it was here and not more up ahead?
Jeremy and Nick fold their arms
Hunter: I remember this tree, it was right here
Other hunter: They all look alike
While they're arguing. Jeremy looks at the tree. He sees blood smeared on the top of the trunk. He starts smelling it from the distance to get the scent. It leads him to the other trees then stops at a certain one. He knew he had to get over there
