Chapter 10: Face to Face

You lead them into an abandoned warehouse

Clay: The hell is this place?

Jeremy: I don't know but we have to find her before she turns

They hear an echo of a door being slammed and locked

Clay: Shit, she's trying to lock us out

They run inside. Jeremy follows the scent until it leads to a big door. He can pick up your scent from the other side

Jeremy: The door is chained on the other side

Clay: Then let's let ourselves in

Jeremy: Once we're in...

Clay: We find her quickly

Jeremy smiles and nods

Jeremy: Nice and quiet

He uses his fingers to count to three then they both kick the door open and rush in. Jeremy follows your scent through the hallways. They go around the corner where the scent splits into two rooms. Jeremy stops Clay

Jeremy: Hold on. Her scent goes in both of these rooms. We're going to have to split up. I'll take the room on the left

Clay: Alright, be careful

Jeremy: You to

They both split and go into the seperate doors. Each door had hallways so it was a long walk. Jeremy had chosen the right door. It leads him into a small room with racks and boxes everywhere. You were hiding behind one of them while feeling yourself change. You see the clouds still covering the moon so it gave you some time. You didn't know but Jeremy was looking in your direction

Jeremy: I know you're over there. I can hear you breathing

You start holding your breath

Jeremy: Holding your breath doesn't help. I can hear your heartbeat racing. You're nervous; aren't you?

You let a huff

You: No

He takes a couple of steps forward

Jeremy: Why don't you come out of that corner and face me? Have a one on one

You never back down from a challenge so you pick yourself up and limp over. You grab onto one of the racks as you lose balance from the change. Your arm looked like your werewolf form, your eyes glowed from your black shades, and your teeth were sharp

You: Is that better?

Jeremy: Much. I want to know what you are

You: A mistake. That's what I am. I was a human before all this. Had a "happy" life. Became this. This experiment

Jeremy: What experiment?

You: Those damn scientists did this to me

Jeremy: So; you're just a test from tubes? No bites?

You: No. None of us were

Jeremy: Us?

You yell and grab onto your chest. Jeremy watches you, seeing you vulnerable. He walks over to you

Jeremy: I'm sorry this happened to you

He takes his knife out. You remember him saying that to that girl and what he did to her

Jeremy: But you're an abomination

He tries to stab you but you quickly put your hand up as it gets penetrated by the knife. You let out a pained growl while glaring at him. Smoke starts coming out of your hand. Jeremy looks but then focuses on you. He forces you against the rack then presses on the knife to still try to stab you. You see in the corner of your eyes the moon being exposed from the clouds so you grab Jeremy by the shirt and bite him on the shoulder. He starts yelling loudly that Clay can hear him. You shove him to the ground then start to transform into your werewolf form. Jeremy's crawls back until his back touches the wall. He had his hand on his shoulder, watching your full transformation which was quick. Clay runs in and sees you. You stand tall as his eyes get wide
