Chapter 13: Being Normal

Two hours later...

You decided it was time to go out to the town and explore it but mostly to get new clothes. Yes The Alpha was onto you but you were careful by using the trees to keep your scent away from him. Once you reach the town, you start walking around. It was nice and quiet. People here and there were out minding their business. Some were staring at you because your clothes were still soaked and you had your shades on but you didn't mind it, let them judge. You hear music in the distance so you check it out. It was a night club. You always wanted to go to one and this was your chance to try it out before you get chased out of this town. You saw how everyone was dressed all nice as they went in. You were not so you walk around the town again until you see a mannequin in a dress in front of the window. The store was closed but you snuck in and took the dress without anyone knowing. You left your clothes and shades on the floor as you put the dress on then check yourself out in the mirror. It showed off some clevage which you hated but whatever, once in a lifetime opportunity at your feet. You fix yourself up, made sure your hair looked decent, and head to the front entrance. The bouncer and everyone waiting in line checks you out. You ignore them as the bouncer lets you in. Once you entered, all the guys eyes went on you. This was the reason you always wore shades, your eyes were alluring towards men. Wolf or human, they couldn't resist it. You ignore them and start walking to the bar. You can feel their eyes watching you as they were dancing with their partners. There was a younger man staring you down. He was a wolf. Looked like he was up to no good. Guessing he's what you'll call a mutt from the bad vibe you're getting. Once you walk by him, you both make eye contact with each other. He looked interested in you but then just looks away. Guess I'm not his type. You make it to the bar and order yourself a Shirley Temple. You didn't drink, in your human life drinking and going out was a distraction from your job so you got a non alcoholic beverage because what the hell right? As you're drinking it, a guy approaches you

Guy: Hi there

You look at him. He was good looking but he was an Alpha. Never good especially in a public place

You: Why hello there

Guy: Saw you from the distance, couldn't resist myself to not meet you

You smile

You: I'm flattered

Another guy comes over. He was good looking to and also an Alpha

Other Guy: Well hello beautiful. You're looking irresistible tonight

You blush and giggle from that word. The first guy glares at him

Guy: Excuse me but we were having a conversation

Here we go

You go back to drinking as you watch them

Other Guy: Oh really? Didn't look like one. She seemed more interested in me more than you

Guy: Oh from your little smooth talk? Please

Other Guy: Well I think we should just take this outside

They get in each other's faces

Guy: I think that's a great idea

You chug your Shirley Temple and get in between them

You: Okay boys let's play nice now. Come on

You grab both of their hands and start leading them to the dance floor. Once there, you position their hands on you. One guy was in front of you, the other behind you

You: Just dance and don't fight

They glare at each other

You: Don't fight or I'll go dance with that Alpha...
