Two Days Later...
Jeremy is doing push ups. Logan and Peter were watching him this time. Elena comes downstairs with a plate of food. She sees Jeremy
Elena: looks like someone's doing better?
He stops when he smells the food and stands up
Jeremy: Alot better. My wounds are fully healed. Well, not all
Elena: Not all?
Jeremy: The bite is still there. Not as bad as it looks but her scent is still there so I'll keep it covered for now
He goes up to the cell door as she slides the plate in. He takes it from her
Jeremy: Thank you
Elena: No problem
She starts to walk away
Jeremy: It's time
She stops and looks at him. Logan and Peter look at him as well
Logan: It's time?
Jeremy looks at him
Jeremy: It's time
Peter: Time to catch us a mutt
Jeremy: Yes... right after I'm done eating
Elena rolls her eyes
Peter: Ah come on man
Logan: Really?
Elena: Call us when you're ready
She walks back upstairs
Jeremy: I'm not going on an empty stomach. Need my energy as well as my strength
He starts eating fast as everyone patiently waits for him to finish. Minutes later when he finishes, he takes a shower and puts his clothes on. Afterwards, he heads downstairs where everyone is standing by the door watching him
Jeremy: Sorry didn't mean to take that long. Trying to prepare myself. We don't know what's going to happen or what we're dealing with so everyone needs to stay alerted at all times and stick together
They all nod in agreement. He goes up to them
Jeremy: Alright let's find this mutt
He looks at his arm and slowly takes off the bandage but not all the way. Your scent fills his nose as he looks away. He shakes the feeling off then gets ready to lick it
Elena: Wait
Everyone including Jeremy looks at her
Elena: You're not going to run out on us are you?
Jeremy: I can control myself if I'm focused; remember?
Elena: Right. Gotcha. Sorry
Jeremy: Don't be sorry
He looks back at his arm and starts licking it. His eyes get wide as he starts tracking you. Your trail leaving the woods and going into the town where it ends at a diner. Jeremy pulls away from his arm while putting the bandage back on and breathing heavily
Jeremy: She's in town. At a diner. There's a front and back exit. We can surround her so we're gonna have to split in groups. Clay and Elena will come with me to find her. I need two of you in the back and two of you in the corner
They all nod. He opens the door as they all head outside
Peter: That was so fucking awesome
Logan: Tell me about it
Jeremy, Elena, and Clay go in one car as the others all go in another and take off. They follow Jeremy's car. Clay was driving while Jeremy gave him directions on the passenger side while Elena sat in the back
Clay: Hopefully she's still there by the time we get there
Jeremy: Her trail was fresh
Elena: Guess someone's getting breakfast?
Jeremy: Yes so she's going to be there for awhile
Clay: So what's the plan when we get there?
He looks at him. Jeremy just stares at the road
Jeremy: I... don't know. I haven't thought of it. Didn't think we'd capture her at a diner. I thought it would be in the woods and I thought of a plan for that but... yeah
He let's out a nervous laugh
Elena: So; we're just going to go in and think of something?
Jeremy: No I'll think of something. Just give me a minute
Clay looks at Elena from the rear view mirror. She gives him a nervous look. As they're driving, Jeremy was thinking of a plan while telling Clay where to go. They reach the town
Jeremy: Not that many people out here today. That's good
Elena: A lot of walls to trap her in to in case she escapes
Jeremy: Clay stop the car!
He quickly does. The car the rest of the pack were in press their brakes as well, almost hitting Jeremy's car. They honk at them
Clay: Jesus Jeremy!
Jeremy: Sorry. Very eager to catch her
He points at the diner
Jeremy: There it is
Jeremy takes his phone out and calls Antonio
Jeremy: This is how far as we go. The diner is up ahead. Park the car and split into the two groups
Antonio: Alright. See you on the other side
Jeremy: You to. Also sorry about what happened just now
Antonio: It's okay just warn us next time
Jeremy: Will do
They hang up
Jeremy: Drive pass the diner then park
Clay nods as he drives pass the diner, they all look at it but can't see inside because the windows were covered
Clay: Of course
He parks in the corner, close to the entrance
Elena: So; how do we do this?
Jeremy: We go in quietly and blend in. I'll look out for her. You two will guard the front on my signal. Then I'll make my way over and try to talk to her. Try to get her to come peacefully
Clay: What if she doesn't?
Jeremy: Then we wait it out. There's too many people in there for me to force her out, it'll cause a scene
Elena: And not one we want
They see the others go into the back of the diner
Jeremy: Alright let's go
They nod as they get out of the car and walk over to the entrance. Jeremy takes a deep breath
Jeremy: Ready?
Clay: Yes
Elena: Yeah
Jeremy: Let's do this
