Sakura walks into the Family Temple and lights a stick, placing it in a hanging statue of a small dragon. Kona the cricket watches from a top of the tombstone and follows her. She runs into her parent's room, taking the scroll and leaving her hair comb. She looks down at her parents sleeping peacefully before heading to get the armor. Taking a kunai knife she cuts her hair short, then ties the hidden leaf headband around her forehead, and puts on her father's Shinobi uniform and grabs his sword. Going out to the stable, she goes to get Kurama, but he begins to rear not recognizing Sakura at first "whoa boy, it's me Sakura" she soothes him calming him down. After mounting her horse , Sakura turns to look at the house one last time then sets off for the army. The eyes of a statue in the temple flash, and Granny Tsunade wakes up.

"Sakura is gone!" Tsunade shouts waking up Mebuki and Kizashi. "What?" He shouts before falling in a mud puddle "no!" "You must go after her" Mebuki said "She could be killed."
