9 - Basement

*Russias PoV*

I wake up tied to a pole. I try moving, but the knots are too knotty.

I try looking around, but it's dark.

I try calling out, but there's something covering my mouth.

Suddenly the lights get turned on. When my eyes adjust to the light, I see North Korea and China standing in front of me. China's holding a struggling America.

America's tied up and gagged. I start trying to break free, but nothing is working.

China throws Meri into the floor. North smiles "Aww, Russia has feelings for this useless waste of a country!"

China pulls out a knife.

America tries moving away, but China grabs him and holds the knife to his neck.

North pulls away whatever was covering my mouth. He says "Don't scream, or China will kill America."

North punches me in the face.

I hold in the tears. He punches me again. "You don't have any 'Father' to protect you now!"

I start crying, and he slaps me across the face.

North continues attacking me for a while. China holds the knife to Meri's neck the whole time.

North punches me in the stomach for his final punch, and I fall to my knees.

China makes a gash in Meri's left arm, then throws him against me.

I cough a little, just as we're plunged into darkness once more.

America cries quietly. I want to help, but I'm stuck.

Once my eyes adjust, I can see a little bit.

I think for a bit.

"Meri... I have.. an idea."

He shuffles a little. "Hm?"

"Sit up."

He shuffles around, then taps my knee with his foot lightly.

"Hold your hands up."

He taps me on the nose. I bite on the ropes, trying to pull them apart.

After some time, I actually get it off!

He unties his feet and takes of his gag.

He quickly unties me, and I start stumbling to the exit with him.

We open the door quietly, and see the lobby for the dorm building.

North and China are nowhere to be seen.

I stumble out into the lobby, then collapse on the floor. Meri sits next to me. Everything is blurry.

I pass out.

I wake up in a hospital bed.
