Our favorite duo made it back to Gotham without delay. The Dark Knight finally figured out what exactly had exploded and why and he was not pleased. However, hearing Jason cackle while telling the story while Dick just looked sheepish made it worth it to Bruce. He was happy Jason was willing to talk to him, even if it was just to embarrass one of his brothers. Alfred offered to make Jason's favorite dinner if he would stay, Jason seemed to consider before giving his signature smirk and rode away. Bruce frowned but let it go, he knew Jason would need more time, he was happy with the progress made so far.

Bruce unpacked from the trip, and gathered the data they had gathered together. He decided to wait for Damian to get settled to go over it, he knew his son would want to help. Bruce considered what he had learned so far. He decided to focus on Daniel first. He felt he could confidently tell Harley her son was safe and happy, if a little rebellious at times. He decided he would tell her that knowing she would be a bit pleased at the thought. He turned when he heard someone enter the room. Alfred brought over a tray with coffee on it. Bruce gave a grateful nod and took a sip.

Alfred watched for a moment then asked "how was the trip? Master Damian seems a bit more at peace."

Bruce smiles and says "yes you were right as always. The trip was good bonding time. We learned quite a bit as well." Bruce smiled as Damian entered the room. Dick and Tim not far behind him. They all gathered around the computer so they could search through the data and discuss what the duo had found in Amity Park. Dick and Tim agreed on Bruce and Damian's assessment of Daniel.

Dick let out a breath "it's still hard to believe those two psyhcos have a kid. Good thing he is so normal. Could you imagine?"

Bruce shook his head. Damian tilted his head in thought "he's actually alright. He's much smarter than his grades would imply. It's odd though, one day while we were there it almost seemed like he was injured, but by the time we left he seemed fine."

Bruce nodded "noticed a few things as well." The boys looked at him expectantly but Bruce just shook his head "I want to look into it more before I say." The batboys let it go knowing they wouldn't get anything else out of Bruce until he was ready.

Tim nodded and leaned forward "now about this Phantom, you came across....?" Bruce leaned back and told Tim and Dick about what he and Damian had learned about ghost and the GIW. They looked skeptical but were interested in seeing the videos they had taken of the fights, and were reasonably upset about what the GIW tried to do, not only experimenting on ghost but what the agents had nearly done to their babybat. That was not something they would be letting go of, ever. Bruce stood up and dressed in his batsuit.

Dick glanced up and asked "a bit early for batman to start a patrol don't you think?"

Bruce nodded "usually I would agree, but I'm heading to Arkham first. I have a promise to keep."

Damian frowned "your not going to tell her his name are you?"

Bruce smiled thinking that it was good Damian had found someone he seemed to get along with, someone he even felt a bit protective of. "No of course not, I'm not going to tell her anything about him that could possibly lead her or Joker to him. She gave him up for a reason, even she knew, as loyal as she is to him, that their son would have a better life without them in it."

Damian nodded thoughtfully. "I think I'm going to stay in tonight, unless you want me to come along."

Bruce frowned wondering why Damian didn't want to come, he usually jumped at the chance to go on patrol with him. He raised his eyebrow at his youngest knowing he would understand the unasked question.

Damian looked down seemingly embarrassed. Bruce couldn't help but feel surprised, his youngest usually didn't let anything show. Damian shifted uncomfortably and looked up "Danny mentioned this computer game he and his friends play online together, he let me have his copy, he said he could get another one. I thought I might check it out?"

Bruce stared at his son, trying to decide what to say about that when Dick put his hand on Damian's shoulder and says "that sounds like fun, let me know, maybe we can all get a copy and play together."

Bruce gave his oldest a grateful look and was disappointed that Dick seemed to know what to say to Damian when he couldn't. He couldn't help but think of the time the boys had together while he was gone. Damian nodded at Dick then looked back at Bruce with a hopeful expression. Bruce reaches out and ruffles his hair and says"of course you can stay in."

Damian gives a small smile and leaves the room. Dick stretches and says "whelp, I have to get back to Bludhaven, later."

Tim is still typing away on his laptop, he glances up feeling eyes on him "I'm researching the GIW."

Bruce knew he wouldn't be pulled away anytime soon. 'Looks like I'm going out by myself tonight after all.' He shook his head at the thought and finishes getting ready. He made it to Arkham and convinced the guards to bring Harley to an empty room. She was brought in and the guards left them alone.

Batman waited just a moment to make sure the guards wouldn't overhear the conversation. "Harley, I found him."

 Harley swallowed nervously "and?"

"He's fine. He has a good life, two parents that love him, a sibling, he's intelligent even if his grades don't show it, probably a rebellious phase."

Harley grinned.  Batman waited. She leaned forward "does he have friends? A girlfriend or boyfriend? Does he seem you know, normal."

Batman's face stayed impassive but he nodded "he does have friends, I don't know about romantic interest. He is a typical teenage kid. Just trying to figure himself out as far as I can tell. You made the right choice Harley, he has a good life."

Harley slumped into herself like a doll who had their strings cut. She looked up at the Dark Knight and with a sincere look on her face says "thank you for finding my son, I just had to know."

Batman stands and calls for the guards to come back and take Harley back to her room. Then leaves. He patrols for a few hours before making it back to the Manor. He's not pleased when he gets to the batcave. Waiting for him is a message from Superman. "We got a message from Phantom, we need you back at the Watchtower, there's trouble."

A/N as you guys can probably tell I am not a gamer. I'm pretty sure now days you can probably download a game right off the internet, but back when Danny Phantom aired you still had to have the disk? Right? IDK. Later outcasts. As for the GF or BF comment I feel like Harley would be the type of mom to just accept either one. You know.
