Deep within the world,
An ancient evil slumbers.
Knights picked up and hurled,
And a roar that rivals thunders.
A creature of tremendous size,
And even greater power.
To pursue the beast is unwise,
As it will be your final hour.
He breathes fire hot enough to melt steel,
And has wings to block out the sun.
The visuals of the fire are almost surreal,
If his claws snatch you you're done.
Scales impervious to mortal weapons,
Vulnerable only to the divine.
The Chosen One shall ride forth,
His radiance will shine.
The treasure inside the lair of this beast,
Gold and silver and crystals and gems.
Money to fuel an eternal feast.
All over the world is where his wealth stems.
Fire, wings, tail and claw,
The monster's image covers the monolith.
Topped off with a bone crushing jaw,
Who will be the one to fell this mighty myth?
Sit down and listen true,
For I have a tale to tell you.
This book I have here with me in my wagon,
Will tell you the story of The Legend of the Dragon.
