A girl I met has caught my eyes,
Cause of her beauty it's no surprise.
Her long red hair, smooth as silk,
A healthy girl, almost never sick.
Her eyes are as bright as the sun,
They light up my world when I call her hun.
Her face is coated in freckles,
Cute even when wearing my speckles.
Her touch is soft, and her huge are sincere,
Kisses are all I want from my dear.
Sitting together by the near pond,
I'm enthralled like a spell from a wand.
Her laugh is so funny and her smile so sweet,
No other can match her and certainly no other can beat.
I sit here in silence enjoying her company,
She gets closer and the night comes suddenly.
She whispers to me the secrets of her past,
I love her for it all and smile during the last.
She leans on my shoulder and hums a fine tune,
From a song she treasures about the full moon.
Faye, my darling girl in my arms,
Falls asleep and laughs at my charms.
I sit on the bench and stare at the stars,
Though she's asleep, this moment is ours.
I kiss her forehead and tell her goodnight,
Then I fall asleep with her till the sun shines so bright.
Awake in the park we laugh and we play,
Feeding the ducks and a picnic for my Faye.
We return home and I see it in her eyes,
My girl's so happy that she almost cries.
She hugs me tightly and won't let go,
Her skin cold like she's been playing in the snow.
I hug her back and try to warm her up,
The night is here so it's time to lockup.
We lay in bed staring in eachother's eyes,
Kiss her goodnight then say our goodbyes.
She grabs my wrist and asks me to stay,
Saying she wants to see me more than just today.
I stay and keep her company,
I get a glass of water for my honey.
Saying our goodnights and going to bed,
I'll never get her out of my head.
She makes me happy and I want her to stay,
If you're reading this, I love you Faye.
