Going to the basement I found the hunter chained to a chair in the cell down there. I wanted to go inside and talk to him but the idea of walking into a cell scared the shit out of me so I mumbled a little spell and teleported him to my room upstairs. Taking a deep breath to clear my head I went upstairs at a human pace. Walking in I found him looking around himself in confusion... I cleared my throat gaining his attention "Vampire" he said with a venom laced voice & I shook my head much to his confusion "Try again" I said playfully.
He looked at me puzzled "Another hybrid .. Impossible, you were affected by the werewolf venom" I stepped closer and started circling him to get worked up and then I spoke up smugly "Not you average Hybrid buddy" I said and his face was so comical to say the least. "What the Fuck is that supposed to mean?" He asked in frustration following my movements with his eyes. "Don't bother, it's a long story.. What matters now is that you work for someone who works for someone that I want to get rid of" I said and he shook his head "I don't know what you're talking about" he said denying and I raised my hand making a fist in front of his face and he started choking on his breath immediately.
"You'd better start taking before I choke you to death... I have all day" He was coughing and thrashing in his chair and I stood there watching for a while before I stopped. "What the hell are you?" He asked in a horrified tone and I smirked "Look Mr hunter let's have a deal, you answer my questions and I won't hurt you otherwise you're up for a long day of torture and believe me I know a hell of a lot in that field" I told him and he shook his head mumbling that he worked alone.
Crouching in front of him I focused on causing him more pain and he screamed when I broke his wrists "Who do you work for? I asked again and he was breathing hard and shaking his head refusing to answer me so I stood up frowning at his stubbornness and snapped my fingers breaking the bones of his shoulder and he screamed even louder than before, then whimpered a name so in a fluid motion of my hand his bones went back to place.
After a couple of minutes his breathing evened out and I repeated my question again and this time he answered "Atticus Shane" I nodded then muttered "Movere ad cella" and he was teleported back to the cell.
When I turned around Rebekah was standing stunned in the doorway of my room "You look like you saw a ghost" I told her and then moved across the room, & leaned against the wall looking out of the window leaving her to stare at my back. "I just didn't get the chance to see you using magic like that before... you umm ... you got a name out of him" she said moving closer and then sat down at the end of my bed.
"If you're worried about my state of mind because I was torturing him then don't. I'm fine" I said harshly turning around to look at her and she was looking at her hands twiddling her fingers in a nervous way and she looked so adorable like that so I got closer and stood in front of her putting a hand on her cheek and she looked up with concern in her eyes "Don't worry Bekah I didn't go nuts yet, I'm fine" She stood up and hugged me tightly.
" I just want us to be OK, I want you to get better and I know you've been getting better lately but with everything happening lately I can't help but worry about you love" she said honestly and I hugged her back and kissed her head "I know sweetheart, I know".
After a minute or so we stepped back from the hug and she noticed I was thinking about something so she asked curiously "What are you up to now??" She asked and I shrugged giving her my best innocent look before turning around and fetching a cell phone from my night stand and switching it on "The best thing to do now is to check our hunter's phone and get this Atticus' number, let Liz run a little research on the guy for us and go from there" I said and she smiled at me.
We went down to the parlor and she prepared us some drinks and we sat down chatting about the hunter and the hunter's mark she mentioned that Kol is scared of this legend called Silas saying he believes it to be true and that she doesn't really know if it's real or not.
She mentioned the hunter's sword and that it leads to the cure of vampirism saying that Nik knew where it was hidden so I texted him to start working on it. We knew this cure is highly a real thing because it was mentioned in so many grimoires and knowing Klaus he would make sure no one ever reached this cure because other than the white oak stakes this could prove to be the second deadliest thing to an original on earth.
If that Shane guy wants the cure for something then I'll make sure to get it first.
