Everyone looked at her when she entered. Her smile suddenly vanished when she looked around the room to see the face she'd been longing for. But she didn't found him there. He was nowhere to be seen.

"Hinata-chan!" Naruto said when she came closer. She forced herself to smile and greeted him.

"How are you, Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked, her voice soft and quiet as she tried to hide the sadness.

She was happy that Naruto came back safe but what about Sasuke? Where was he? What happened to him? Was he alright? She really wanted to know, and to see him.

They talked for a bit as the others joined the conversation. After exchanging a few sentences, Hinata backed away from them as she couldn't keep her mind away from Sasuke. She was so worried for him.

Suddenly, a hand on her shoulder brought her back to the real world. She looked up to see Sakura smiling at her. Hinata offered her a smile or atleast she tried to but failed.

Sakura could see the worry in her pale orbs and she knew exactly why she was worried.

"Don't worry," Sakura said as she looked at Hinata with a smile and continued, "He is alright. He was just tired so he went home."

Hinata felt so relieved that her legs almost gave in. She huffed out a relieved sigh, "Thank god."

A smile grazed her lips and she said to Sakura, "Sakura-chan, I have to go now. I want you to know that I am really happy for you and Naruto."

At that, Sakura looked surprised but then soon she engulfed Hinata into a hug and whispered thanks over and over again. Hinata giggled at her friend's antics and let go. She then said goodbye and left.

She qiuckly headed to Sasuke's apartment, jumping from roof to roof. She then realized that she shouldnt go empty-handed so she thought of buying some grocery then she will make him lunch in order to thank him for saving her. She knew it was just an excuse to make him lunch and spend some time.

She then quickly bought some vegetables and other necssacery items to cook a decent meal. She then stopped in front of his apartment building and tried to steady her breathing. After doing that she headed upstairs and soon she was standing infront of his door. She lifted her hand ro knock but halted midway.

She withdrew her hand as she suddenly felt so nervous, her heartbeat raced but she was really happy to see him. She waited an entire night for him which seemed like an eternity. She never felt this way towards Naruto, never her thoughts about him made her go crazy like Sasuke did, never his touch made her heart race like Sasuke did.

So with courage in her and with flushed cheeks she knocked on the door and waited. Soon, the door opened and the man who she had been waiting for emerged from the shadows of the dark hallway. She sucked in a breath to calm her crazy heartbeat and control her blushing.

Sasuke looked at her with his usually blank face, he gave away no emotions that indicated that he was happy to see her, he just stared at her with that same blank expression.

"G-good Morning."

No answer.

Hinata waited for his answer with a smile on her face but her heart was racing 50 miles per hour. She could sense the tense atmosphere between them, Sasuke's behaviour was not like the usual, like how he use to loose himself around Hinata.

Hinata then realized that she was staring at a stranger. She didn't knew this man, he sure looked like him but he wasn't the same Sasuke she fell in love with.

Love...

The word echoed in her mind as she realized that she actually was in love with him. Sasuke's voice broke her trance of thoughts.
