"Wait a second. Do you two know each other?" Anastasia wonders.

As you may have already guessed, the guy standing in front of us is Abel. Yes, Abel from the plane. Crazy right? I swear stuff like this only happens in books and movies.

Both of us stare at one another in astonishment before I finally respond.

"Y-Yeah we know each other." I say vaguely.

Ana looks between us both before "And? What else? How did you meet? And you Abel how come you didn't tell me!"

Abel looks away from me and faces Ana, "How was I supposed to know Kez was your friend huh?"

"Oh, yeah that's true. Well, as it's obvious you two need to talk, I'm going to form and I'll meet you there."

She walks away and I'm left alone with Abel.

"So how come you're here at my school?" I question.

"Last time I checked, I'm pretty sure you're not the owner of this place which therefore means I have a right to be here."

I simply stare at him blankly before he continues.

"Fine geez. I recently moved to this town with my family and this was the closest school to my house sooo."

Ana did just mention the family had moved down.

"Oh."

"Oh?" He asks. "That's all you have to say?"

"Sorry, I'm just a bit shocked to be honest. I never would have thought that I'd see you again."

"I did tell you that I knew it wouldn't be the last time we meet and I'm actually always right."

"Um yeah okay then." I respond sarcastically.

Abel just chuckles and I have to say, I did miss that sound even though it's only been a month.

"I'd really like to continue this conversation but I should probably go and get my timetable from the office.  I don't want to be late on my first day."

"Oh, would you like me to show you the way?" I ask.

Abel smiles sweetly at me before speaking. "Nah, it's cool. Anastasia already showed me beforehand. I'll see you around Brown Eyes."

He turns around and walks away just before I shout out loud to him, "Stop calling me Brown Eyes!"

"Never!" He laughs happily.

I watch him leave with a walk that just screams confidence. It's actually really attractive.

Abel suddenly turns around as if he feels my eyes on him and winks. My eyes widen and i spin around out of embarrassment from being caught.

I can't actually believe Abel is really here.

I settle down into a seat in my form room waiting for Miss Lenny to take the registration. Anastasia sits in the chair next to me and stares expectantly.

After a while, I begin to feel uncomfortable and finally speak to her like she wants.

I sigh out loud. "Just say what you want to Ana."

"So when were you going to mention that you met someone hmm?"

"Erm never since I never thought I was going to see him again."

"You're supposed to tell me these things Kez! That's what friends do!" She exclaims.

"Its really not that big of a deal you know. We met on the plane ride home, talked and the rest is history. Or not since he's started coming to this school which is a massive shock by the way. Who would have thought something like that could happen am I right?"

"Yeah. You know its probably fate."

"Really Ana? Fate?"

"Well yeah, the unexpected became a reality, of course its fate."

The seat opposite me is pulled open allowing Rani to sit down.

"What's fate?" She asks.

"Nothi- "I try to say.

"Keziah met a guy on the plane which turned out to be one of my family friends who also turned out to be the new transfer here at this school." Ana says excitedly.

"Really? Is he hot?" Questions Rani.

"Seriously?"

"What? That's an important thing to know."

"Well, I'm not answering that question Rani."

"Ugh you take the fun out of everything Kez."

"Yeah yeah whatever."

There's a slight pause before Anastasia speaks up. "Well I think you'd look cute together."

My response is to bang my head against the table.

"Wouldn't you agree Rani?"

"I haven't even met the boy yet so how am I supposed to know?"

"Oh that's true, you'll definitely see him soon."

I lift my head up of the table to look at both of them, "You realise I'm not even allowed a boyfriend right?"

"Oh your dad can be easily convinced, we'll just have to work on your mum Kez. It'll be fine, you and Abel will be together in no time!" Says Ana excitedly.

As you can tell, Anastasia is clearly the most bubbly and optimistic friend that I have. She wants everyone to be happy and goes out of her way to do so. While this is an amazing quality to have, it can actually be pretty annoying at times. But what can you do huh?

Miss Lenny takes the register and for the next ten minutes, we all talk about our summer holidays before our first lesson begins.

Does anyone else have that one unbelievably positive friend? It's like nothing phases them at all.
