"I see you, I see others and I want to see you more." ~ Pushpa Rana

After dinner, everyone leaves and heads to their rooms.

"It was nice meeting you Keziah. I hope to see you around here more." Titus walks out and goes into what looks like an office.

I follow Adah to the kitchen with some plates, "Would you like some help?"

"Sure dear, I'll wash and you dry."

For the next few minutes, we clean up in a companionable silence. I'm not completely sure where Abel went, but I'll find him later on.

"My son's lucky to have met you Keziah."

"Im lucky too, I haven't met someone like him before."

Adah smiles at me, "I'm not sure if he told you, but he hasn't always had the easiest time being adopted. People make comments especially as we are a very mixed family."

It makes me sad to think that people judge others like this in this time and age. Abel has been nothing but nice to me, so why do people overlook that but focus on where he comes from? Life's not fair I'm telling you.

"I think it's pretty cool; you're all very different people yet you're still a lovely family."

"You two will be great together you know. I have no idea what my son is waiting for. Maybe he needs a wake up slap."

I laugh with her at this but internally hope that Abel makes a move soon.

We finish washing up, so I excuse myself to go find Abel.

I head up the stairs intending to go to his room. As I walk past several doors, I spot Abel through a gap in a door. I'm about to walk in when I realise he's putting his siblings to bed.

"Tristan, stop messing around and get in bed!"

"I don't want tooooo!" Whines Tristan.

Abel sighs, "What if I sing you a song?"

"Okay!" Tristan jumps into bed and pulls the covers right over him.

Abel grabs a chair and pulls it in between Tatiana's and Tristan's bed.

I watch in admiration as he starts singing softly to both of them.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy, when skies are grey

You may not know dear, how much I love you

Please don't take my sunshine away

He sings this in a much more gentle voice than I thought he was capable of. He repeats it until both of them are peacefully sleeping.

I watch as he kisses both of them on their foreheads before tucking the sheets around them tightly.

My heart melts as I look at him act in such a caring and loving way. It makes me fall even more for him.

Abel turns and walks this way. Once he spots me, he looks startled for a second before composing himself.

"Brown Eyes. Um how long have you been standing there for?"

"Long enough. Do you sing to them often?"
