This chapter might be different, especial how I made Kai. I didn't want Kai to be this "super badass ,strongest ninja around even stronger than most jonin" I wanted her to be like everyone else sort of scared, and grow along the way to get stronger in you know.. Shippuden. Also her Voice actor is Lauren Landa dub actor for Kai. For this character she's much younger so when shippuden comes I'll pick a character with a sort of deeper voice you know

3rd pov

As Sakura goes over what happened with Sasuke and Gaara Shikamaru sighs "damn.. dragging me into this what a drag" he says.

"Can't be helped! Kakashi sensei's order. " I say sighing.

"This way!" Pakkun says sniffing the ground..

"Right" we all say.

As we travel through the forest , jumping on each tree it feels like an eternity to get there.

"At the pace there going , we'll take longer and-" soon Pakkun sniffs around. His ears stand up he must have sensed something.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Did you find Sasuke?" Naruto says.

"No. There's two squads behind us. Eight ninja.. No one more nine ninja following us." I feel my heart race. Crap.

"Come on man already?! Give me a break here!"says Shikamaru I glance back. This isn't too good.

"We need to lose them.." says Pakkun.

We stop for a moment.

"Gah!! Why are we stopping!?" Naruto whines stomping his feet.

"Zip it, and follow your footprints we're going back words" Pakkun begins to go back.

"If we pull this off are foot prints will disappear" he says and jumps back to the tree branch we started from.

"Whatever" I say at least will help buy us some time..

We all all do as he says and get back on track. Jumping through more tress Pakkun once again sniffs the area alerted.

"What now!? There following us aren't they?" I say.

"Be prepare for an ambush they're catching up with us slowly, but surely." he says.

Me and Shikamaru sigh "great there all chunin , or higher. We'll be wiped out or worst.." he says.

"Look you guys we have to ambush them-"

"No! The mission is to find Sasuke A-S-A-P. That will take to long!" I say.

"She's right, those ninja are probably Orochimaru's henchman probably worst case scenario, there all jonin level.." he says.

"Great." I say sighing.

"Wait the level of an opponent doesn't have much to do with an ambush does it?" Sakura says.

"Yeah!" Naruto says.

"You guys don't get it. Let me explain. Indeed, an ambush is a very advantageous fundamental tactic. But two conditions are necessary." he says. Great his thinking like this is a game of Shogi.

"Well what are they?" Naruto says eagerly.

He raises his pointer finger up "number one. The ones on the run must act without making noise and find the enemy first..." he stops for a brief moment before raising two fingers "number two, one must be able to catch pursuers off guard, capture a location and position to be able to inflict certain damage , and conceal oneself quickly" he finishes.
