After Kara dropped off her application at Red Lobster she went to Trine's house to pick her up to go to the mall. Then the two girls get to the mall.
Trine: How are you and Justin?
Kara: Good. How are you and Chaz?
Trine: Good. No more fighting.
Kara: Really?
Trine: Yeah.
Kara: *phone rings* Hold on it's dad. *answers phone* Hello dad.
Dad: Where are you?
Kara: At the mall with Trine.
Dad: Oh okay. I'll be getting home really late tonight and so is your mom.
Kara: Okay. *hangs up*
Trine: So what did you do with Justin last week?
Kara: Went out on a picnic and he took me to his house to meet his little brother and sister and meet his dad and his step mom Erin.
Trine: Sounds like it was fun.
Kara: It was. *phone rings and it was Justin and Kara didn't hear her phone ring*
Trine: Kara?
Kara: Yeah?
Trine: I can't believe that me and Chaz are still together.
Kara: I'm excited that you two are still together.
Trine: Me too. *sees a cute dress* On my gosh I love that dress.
Kara: Me too. Let's but it.
Trine: I don't have any money.
Kara: I'll but it for you.
Trine: No you don't have to.
Kara: Yes I do. You're like my sister Trine.
Trine: Okay. Then you can but it for me.
Kara buys her and Trine the same dress that they thought was cute. They went out to the movies after they went to the mall. The two girls get to the movie theater.
Kara: Trine what do you want to watch?
Trine: Um. Step Up Revolution.
Kara: Sounds good.
Kara buys the two tickets for the movie. They got candy and when the movie was over it was 4:30 in the afternoon. Kara took Trine home and Kara went to her grandparents' house and Justin was sitting on the porch.
Justin: Why didn't you answer your phone when I called you? *pissed off look on his face*
Kara: I didn't hear my phone ring. Can we talk about this in the car?
Justin: Okay. Let's go in the car to talk. Who was with you?
Kara: Trine, but she didn't hear it either.
Justin: What's wrong with you Kara?
Kara: Nothing!
Justin: Well there has to be something if you didn't answer your fucking phone!
Kara: You know what, if you think I do stuff on purpose then-
Justin: I didn't say that you were doing things on purpose Kara.
Kara: Well sometimes you act like it!
Justin: Whatever! Maybe I should've never even asked you out Kara!
Kara: Why!?
Justin: Because we've been in three fights in one month!
Kara: Then I think we need a break from each other for a while Justin!
Justin: Fine!
