"What are you doing, Tanjiro-kun?" You questioned, keeping a confused yet cold demeanor look on your face. He blushed and handed you a chocolate box, accompanied with (F/Flowers), placed perfectly with a side note on the side.

"What's this? It isn't even Valentines day yet?" You asked, eyeing the sweet items suspiciously, making Tanjiro gulp nervously.

"I... I wanted to appreciate all the training you gave me.. and this is the only thing I could think of.." He smiled sheepishly before forcing you to hold the box and the flowers, turning his back, running towards the exit.

"Bye (Name)-san!"

And with that he left.

You sigh and turned around, placing the forced items onto a nearby table.
"Weird." You thought as you pondered on why you didn't thank him. Yet again, it is your personality that had caused it.

"CAW!! YOU HAVE A PILLAR MEETING!! CAWW−!!" You gave the crow a blank stare, your (Colour) orbs glowing menacely as you spoke, your voice was gentle yet it held no emotion at all.

"I know that." The crow was shaken aback. It was quivering and shivering around the corner of a big bush, beside the gate where Tanjiro had recently left out from.

"Just go, you stupid crow."

And with that said, you left instantly, not caring whether you treat the shaken up crow gently.

You sat across the beautiful pebbled terrain as you waited for everyone ro leave you alone with you're master − who had apparently had a mission for you − stood up in his engawa glancing to you from time to time.

"(Name), I have a dangerous mission for you. Are you sure you can handle it?" You nodded with no hesitation.
Afterall, why would you be a pillar if you were to back out from a simple mission.

"Thank you, (Name). You are hereby dismissed, you are also allowed to prepare for two days before leaving."

"As you wish."

You stood up, ready to head home and fall lazily down to your bed.

"Oh please do keep in mind, to find him and bring him back."

You were heading out to fullfill your mission, your master had given you.
As you were walking out, you started humming a song, the song you used to sing with Tanjiro before you became a demon slayer.

Yes, you were childhood friends with Tanjiro − best Friends to be precise − but after you're mom's death, you had decided to move away.

Away from Tanjiro.

"A bird cries out.. looking for me within the nameless sky.."

You sang quietly, keeping your guard up for any suspicions in the nearby area. You held you're sword tightly, preparing for the demon to attack.

"Grr....." You're head snapped towards the growl instantly, you're (Colour) orbs growing duller the moment time passes by. "Come out you little bastard..." You taunted, and sure enough, the demon launched itself from it's hiding spot, and charged directly at your chest.

You were too focused on killing the demon, that you didn't even see what the demon looked like. Though, you could see a bit of burgundy coming from the demons hair.

Without wasting time, you immediatly sliced the demons neck before it can even attack again. Rain then started to pour down from the sky, cleaning the bloody scene that had occured.

As you heard the head hit the ground with a thud, you turned away, sheathing you're (Colour) sword back on it's rightful place.

"A single bird... flie..s onward.. as it searc..hes for.. tomorr..ow in a name..less.. sky.."

You stopped dead on you're tracks, hearing the continuation of the song you and Tanjiro had once sang.
Tears brimmed you're eyelids as you turned slightly, seeing a demonized Tanjiro smiling sadly at you.

"Flapping the wings we were given, let's promise to never stop flying.. we're not alone.. isn't that right, Tanjiro?"
