Weeks had gone by since Nicole accepted Gabriel's offer but they had never gone out together as the 'supposed couple' which made Nicole feel sad. Gabriel had asked her to act as his fiancee for six months but she never felt like one even for a second, he was always imprisoning himself with work and Nicole was beginning to feel concerned, he needed some sort of distraction to get him off his busy lifestyle even if it was only for a day but Gabriel wasn't giving her the chance no matter how hard she tried. Nicole had no idea why he was like that, maybe it was because he still saw her as a stranger and didn't want to warm up to her or maybe he had a rough past, either way, Nicole was still willing to give it another try, she only hopes not to get disappointed in the end.

Gabriel was in his bedroom getting ready for work when he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in," he said while trying to knot his tie. Nicole walked into the room making herself comfortable on his bed.

"Good morning." she greeted with a small smile.

"Good morning," he replied still knotting his tie.

"Don't you get bored?" Nicole suddenly asked.

"Excuse me?" He questioned not understanding her question.

"Don't you get bored working all the time?" She repeated making her question clearer.

Gabriel didn't give her a reply as she had expected so she stood up and walked towards him. Once she was face to face with him, she stopped him from knotting his tie and continued to do it herself.

'She needs to stop doing this' Gabriel mentally groaned.

"You know we haven't gone out together, it's not like I'm asking us to but it's just that I'm bored," Nicole said with a pout.

Gabriel mentally slapped himself, he has been busy working and hasn't once thought of taking Nicole out.

"What do you want to do?" He asked once she was done with his tie, he could see a smile appear on her face after his question.

"Take the day off and you won't regret it," she replied.

"I can't do that," he said making her smile drop.

"Please?" She pleaded making Gabriel roll his eyes.

"Fine." he then said, finally giving in.

"Yes!" Nicole squealed in excitement.

Gabriel called his PA asking him to cancel all his appointments for the day.

"Change into something more comfortable," Nicole said to Gabriel before leaving his bedroom.

Nicole got dressed in a white long-sleeved button-down shirt, denim shorts, and black ankle boots. She went light on her makeup. Once satisfied with her looks, she left her room heading for Gabriel's room.

She was about reaching for the door knob when the door suddenly opened revealing Gabriel who was also wearing a white shirt and denim pants. Nicole was excited seeing that they were both wearing matching outfits.

"Why are you smiling?" Gabriel asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"Nothing," she replied still smiling.

"Shall we?" He offered.

"Sure," Nicole replied excitedly grabbing Gabriel by the arm and dragging him out of the hallway.

Nicole took Gabriel to the central park and the zoo. After that she dragged him into a fast food restaurant, Gabriel didn't want to go in because he felt that he shouldn't be in such a place, it was below his standard but he couldn't refuse since Nicole was already dragging him inside the restaurant. The restaurant was Nicole's best part of the outing because she wanted Gabriel to know what real food tasted like. She ordered fried chicken, fries, meat tacos, and hamburgers. Nicole couldn't help but laugh at the surprised look on Gabriel's face, it was priceless.

"Are we going to eat all of this?" He had asked once the food arrived.

"Yup," she replied.

"This isn't healthy." he continued.

"Please, do this for me." she pleaded. After much persuasion, he obliged making Nicole very happy.

"They aren't bad." Gabriel complimented while eating the fried chicken.

"Told ya!" Nicole replied with a sense of pride.

When they were done, she ordered pizza to take home since they were already full then she took Gabriel to an ice cream store for dessert. Gabriel enjoyed their outing together, he hadn't had this sort of fun in a long time, he had always had to work, and go to charity events and company dinners, the typical kind of things rich people do all year round. He was glad that he didn't reject Nicole's offer when she had asked. They arrived home and were both retiring to their rooms when he stopped her.

"Do you feel tired?" He asked.

"No why?"

"Go change into something else then. We'll be going out."

"Is that your way of asking me out on a date?" She asked with a smirk.

"I change my mind," he replied trying to pull her legs. He wanted to see how she'd react.

"Don't!" She pleaded.

"Then stop asking questions and go get dressed."

"Okay. I'll shower first, so you have to wait a little longer," she replied before rushing into her bedroom. Gabriel couldn't help but smile at how childlike she behaved sometimes, actually every time.
