hornsy: ok, here's the proper plan:
the enemy, marked in red, have taken a defendable position for their siege camp, but that leaves them boxed in, so if they're faced with overwhelming odds there most likely to run
team alpha (black) savant and his menwill cut off the north and prevent the enemies from retreating and if they do the defenders from catun will fire down at them
next bravo (blue) the main force will move in from the south with me, Bonesy and his mount in tow (black circle)
team charlie (yellow) will position themselves on the ridgeline with crossbows and when them buggers get close enough, let them taste the steel of our bolts
savant: I see one problem, how the fuck are we gonna get all the men needed
hornsy: *with a sly smile on his face* don't worry i-
savant: youknow a guy?
the sounds of silence cand be heard for several seconds as savant and hornsy awkwardly stare at each other
hornsy: umm...i was gonna say that I have an idea for that
Bonesy: alright so I finished fitting Grug into his armor, now what?
meanwhile, outside a group of mercs enter morn
merc leader: alright boys lets take a rest in the bar then head to catun to get some gurgler heads
merc1: hey have you heard there keeping a powerfull beast inside that HQ
merc2: that's a load of bollocks, there's no way they would keep something that dangerous in their bloody cit-
*BANG*
civilian1: what was that?
*BANG*
civilian2: is he trying to break out
*BANG*
town guard leader: men get your weapons ready
and as the mercs, guard and the bar patrons get ready a few seconds of science can be heard before a large white Gorillo smashes through the wall and onto the ground below it is donned with magnificently ornate black plate armour with white trimming and a slightly overweight shek riding on it's back
Bonesy: WITNESS THE POWER OF BONEY'S COMMISSIONS!!!
everyone: WHAT THE HELL!!!
hornsy: allow me to explain, you see catun is currently under siege by the south hive and we need YOUR help in breaking it
merc leader: and how much you paying?
hornsy: exclusive looting rights, and a possible trade tax exemption if I can pull a few strings
the leader looks around at his men
merc leader: *nods* aye that fair
town guard leader: and what about us
what looks to be the leader of the town guard, he is armed with a longsword and looks quite old
hornsy: well do you want the enemy who can besiege a city to come to your undefended town, hell those harpoons don't even work
town guard leader: well...fair enough, what do you need
hornsy then begins to explain his plan to the merc leader and the town guard
town guard leader: so you want us on defence...
merc leader: and us to attack with infantry and crossbowmen
hornsy: yep, all crossbowmen will go to the ridge, I've left an artefact with the lord that allows me to contact him, and I've already informed him on the plan, his crossbowmen will assist alpha from their walls and their infantry will split off to flank behind those attacking alpha and the others will help bravo
hornsy: also I and Bonesy will assist the mercs in their assault, now *loud enough for everyone to hear* IS EVERONE READY IF SO LET'S MOVE OUT!
