In the end jenny talked to Q and they sorted it out, he was only moving to the next town on so they stayed together. they had a few small fights here and there but that just made their bond stronger.
Alice and Carlos stayed together and went everywhere together, alice had regretted not giving him a chance before, he was great.
Part 2 of this story is set three years later when they were all in university. Alice and jenny went to the same university, Q and carlos also went there with them. the four lived in an apartment together and trent would occasionally visit them.
