I lightly danced to the music that was currently running through the Amber Lounge club of Monaco. I was here for a short holiday before exams started back at uni and so far so good, it was much better than stressing about exams at home... why not just stress about them in another country, am I right? I was here with my friend who was also dancing to the beat of music but kept gaining interest in a certain corner of the club.
"We literally spent our life savings to get into this club stop playing where's wally and dance with me!" I whined,
"No, come look at this!" My friend replied, lightly pulling me to her side and pointing over to a group of boys.
The boys seemed to be our age who were in the corner and had extremely large bottles of the golden champagne that sat upon this highest shelf of the bar. I'm pretty sure when I checked before those bottles were coming in at £900... each.
I looked dismissively at my red bull and vodka before turning back to my friend,
"Let's go investigate," she said with a grin and dragged me over to the large group before halting a short distance away.
"Try not to look so awkward" she pouted.
"But this is weird!" I exclaimed,
She laughed and started to dance again, however, both of our attentions were grabbed by a sudden outburst of Happy Birthdays coming from behind us and looked to see a certain boy of the group with all phones his way, highlighting his face in the strong illuminations.
My stomach twisted and interest peaked at the sight of him. Quite tall and very well built, soft brown hair that curled slightly upwards. His hair perfectly framed his face which was well defined but also held a certain softness and cuteness to it and his green eyes were alight in excitement. I jumped slightly as his eyes flickered to me, locking onto me with a quick scan up and down before sending a wide, boyish grin my way. I smiled back before turning around.
"They're racing drivers, richer than the rich!" A girl stood to the left of me told me with a smile,
"Racing drivers?" I asked, she nodded,
"They seem nice when the whisk you off to one of their fancy race weekends but then blah, you're dumped after the podium celebration if you get me!"
"Oh... and how would you know?" I asked mischievously,
She nodded in the direction of another boy, similar looking to the birthday boy but was holding a smug look on his face,
"Marcus Armstrong; total player and prick but boy is he good looking."
I nodded in understanding but still let my eyes wander back to the birthday boy but to my shock and dismay, he was gone.
"Your friend is wrong, I'm definitely not rich and would keep you for more than a weekend... my whole life if you let me."
A deep but polite voice sounded from behind me,
I turned around and blushed a furious red as I saw the mystery boy stood, towering over me with a bright smile.
"Callum." He stated, extending a hand.
"Y/N... happy birthday by the way." I went to shake his hand but he swiftly took it and placed a delicate kiss upon my knuckles,
"Gosh you're like a prince!" I mocked,
"Be my princess?" He asked with a cheeky grin,
"Very forward but you don't know me Callum the birthday boy and I don't know you."
"Let's talk then."
He grabbed me by the waist and led me into the seats where all of his friends were sat but took me to a more secluded corner where it was slightly quieter.
"So erm... I'm Callum, I'm a racing driver and today I turned 21!"
"Okay, I'm y/n, a PR student and I'm 19."
"Oh, I could do with a PR! I mean I have one but he's old and dislikes me so a new pretty one like you would be much better."
"I guess... working around cars would be cool, what do you race in?"
"Formula Two." He announced proudly, my eyes widened,
"Impressive." I noted,
"Impressed enough to let me kiss you?"
"Not just yet."
He laughed and nodded before carrying on,
"Okay erm, I have a dog, it's a pug and she's called Poppy."
I seed and felt my heart flutter for the adoring look in his eyes as he spoke of his pet,
"No pets but would love a dog." I commented,
"You can come and share mine!" He announced to which I rolled my eyes playfully,
"You're determined I'll give you that callum."
"Why wouldn't I be with a girl like you?" He smirked, leaning closer,
"A girl like me?" I asked,
"A girl like you that's stunning gorgeous, has a beautiful laugh and the most sensational eyes... I think I fell in love with you the second I saw those eyes." He breathed, a sense of nerves coming over him.
I was shocked at his declaration and highly flattered and felt my body relax as his hand rested upon my knee and he leaned closer, he came close to my ear and whispered,
"Come to my hotel tonight but I'm not going to drop you after a weekend, I promise, with eyes like that and a personality so good I want to hold onto you for a god damn while."
My body rose in goosebumps and I slowly nodded, he pressed a light kiss behind my ear before moving to my lips and deeply kissing me,
"Lets go." He muttered, grabbing my hand and standing us both up,
"Not just for a weekend?" I questioned,
"God no, forever, lets go for the rest of our lives princess!"
With that he led me out of the club and to his hotel.
And he stuck to his word. It was more than just a weekend... it was the rest of our lives
Forever; he was right and loved me with his hearts content and my god did I love him back.
