I was married. I was married to Carlos Sainz. It truly sunk in when the words "You may now kiss the bride." Sounded from beside me and I looked up to Carlos, tears brimming slightly on both of our eyes. He completed the ceremony with a sweet kiss and we both laughed as the guests cheered for us. He took my hand in his and we made our way down the aisle, obviously I wanted to look at our guests but I simply couldn't tear my eyes away from my new husband and, heartwarmingly, Carlos couldn't stop looking at me either. I blushed under his loving gaze but had to squint as the sun flooded us as we stepped outside. I smiled brightly as flower petals rained upon us, falling delicately to the floor, a few catching in my hair or upon my dress. We made our way to the car and Carlos held the door for me with a bow,

"What a gentleman!" I gushed,

"Anything for my wife." He grinned cheekily,

When the door finally shut I let out a content sigh, today was going amazing and the ceremony was everything I could have ever wanted.

"You look gorgeous." Carlos said,

"Do you like the dress?" I asked,

"Perfect." He replied,

I blushed at my husbands words and took his hand into mine as the driver made his way to the wedding reception location.

We'd had speeches filled with laughter and some tears of happy memories, the food was delicious and when Carlos and I cut the cake I couldn't contain a huge grin as we both ate a slice. But now I was slightly nervous, the first dance was approaching and I wasn't mentally prepared to slow dance in front of a room full of people. Of course, all of these people were my friends and family and I have danced with Carlos before but this time it meant more.
The butterflies were swarming when Carlos led me to the floor, his suit was illuminated by the lights and I couldn't help but stare in awe at the man that was now my husband. He placed a hand on my waist and enclosed his other hand around my fingers and I slid my hand behind his neck. He began slowly swaying me to the pace of the song we had chosen and the nerves began to fade away.

"I love you." I whispered,

"Good because I love you too." Carlos smirked, I shook my head and planted a kiss on his cheek to which the guests awed at. I rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, content that I was dancing with the love of my life on our wedding day.

"You're now Mrs Sainz you know." He whispered,

My heart burst with the statement,

"Yeah...Mr and Mrs Sainz" I replied, Carlos twirled me under his arm, allowing my dress to gracefully flare and sweep the floor.

"Mr and Mrs Sainz." He repeated with a smile.
