✨RacingOlive ✨Marcus sat in silence with his mouth open at my announcement. I'd told him that it wasn't working anymore and it wasn't him but me, the usual movie stereotypical break up.
"You're not breaking up with me." Marcus deadpanned.
I scoffed and stood up,
"Yes Marcus...yes I am." I replied with a stern tone,
He also stood and took my wrist into his hand harshly,
"You're not allowed to break up with me y/n, I need you!" He snarled,
I retracted my wrist from his grip with a glare and continued out of the apartment,
"Marcus this is for you, you are moving up into F2 next year do you really want the distraction, and even if you do, I don't want to be a distraction anymore Marcus, you constantly leave me out!"
I exclaimed and swung the door open but jumped when Marcus slid past me and shut it, now standing in front of me. My skin rose into tiny goosebumps as Marcus stared me down, his breath skimming over my face.
"You tore us apart y/n, not me but you." He whispered through gritted teeth.
"Well I'm so sorry Marcus that you feel that way but I think you'll find that you are the one who never answered my texts, or my calls and constantly left me out, you lost your love for me and maybe that's my fault but it's over, now let me leave."
He sighed, defeated, I once more went to open the door but he stopped me by pressing his lips against mine in a deep and loving kiss. His hands were around my shoulders and I found myself melting into his actions.
"You're kissing back," he muttered against my lips.
Further deepening the kiss he switched our places so he was towering over me and I was against the door. I allowed my hands to slip into his hair,
"Well done on F2 by the way,"
"Thanks love." He muttered,
The name caused me to break off the kiss and stare at him,
"No...no. Marcus I'm leaving I shouldn't of- goodbye."
"Give me one week." He pleaded, his strong accent slipping into his words, I turned to him shocked,
"One week for what?"
"One week to prove you are the best thing that ever happened to me and it would be stupid to let you walk out on me."
I looked at the floor before making my decision,
"Okay."
He grinned and pulled me along into the living room where we lay on the couch and started watching a film. I'm now forever grateful that Marcus spent that one week with me because without it I wouldn't have him with me for the rest of my life, he truly was the best thing I could have.
