"Namjoon-ah, a letter arrived addressed to the band, with a cautionary warning that it should only be opened by you." Their manager, Sejin said, passing the said letter to the leader. Namjoon frowned as he took the letter in his hands, playing with the corner of the envelope as he stared at the bold black print that said 'For BTS' eyes only'.
"We've already scanned the letter for harmful substances and nothing seems to be out of order," Sejin pat Namjoon on the shoulder before leaving to attend to his other duties. He contemplated the contents of the letter as he walked back to the apartment. He unlocked the door and was met with the sight of Jin eating japchae. Seeing the letter in Namjoon's hands, Jin quickly swallowed the mouthful of noodles he had in his mouth and asked what the letter was about.
"No idea what it's about, but I think all the members should be here for it," Namjoon sighed, he could already feel an oncoming headache.
"GUYS GET DOWN HERE!" Jin hollered, making Namjoon wince. A few beats of silence passed as the members came down one by one from their rooms. There was a growing tension as Namjoon explained the situation. With a deep breath, Namjoon tore the envelope and unfolded the piece of paper. His eyes widened in panic as he scanned the entire letter. The others exchanged worried glances, seeing their leader's horror.
He wordlessly passed the letter to Jin, who glanced at him worriedly after reading the letter. Jin passed it to Yoongi, while Hoseok read it over his shoulder. Contrary to their leader and Jin's reaction, they were stifling their laughter. The maknae line's reaction was similar.
"Come on, I'm sure this is some stupid prank. It doesn't even look real," Yoongi said amusedly. The maknae line and Hoseok nodded in agreement. A knock resonated through the apartment before Sejin let himself in.
"So? What was in that letter?" he asked, cocking his head to the side as he waited for a reply.
"Just some crappy prank claiming that they're going to kill us," Jungkook answered, rolling his eyes, irritated that he had been interrupted from his gaming session for some dumb, baseless threat. Sejin raised an eyebrow at that as he took the letter from the maknae, scanning through it himself.
The letter was written in blood, and it was rather fresh from the metallic tang that hit his nose, making him want to gag. How the members couldn't smell it, he didn't know.
"Bang PD-nim should be informed of this, regardless of whether it will be acted on," was the last thing Sejin said before he exited the apartment, letter in hand, leaving the boys to process what he had said. As soon as the situation hit them, they left for the company to meet with their CEO.
