"Shazia, is bhai still not up?" I asked the maid while eating my cereal.

"No baji." She returned meekly.

'But Uncle had asked him to take me to check out colleges today.' I thought with a frown.

"Alright. Please go wake him up now."

"But baji he forbids anyone to wake him up."Shazia answered frantically and I abruptly looked up with annoyance, which caused her to flinch back.

"Okay. Thankyou." I answered in a small voice, staring at my bowl. Pushing it back in frustration, I got up and made my way to that idiot's room which was right across the hallway from mine.  Exhaling a deep sigh I pounded on the door four times. No response. Just as I was about to bring up my fist to the door again his scream echoed though the door.

"WHO THE HELL!"

"I am coming in, if you don't open the door in the next five second." I replied as calmly and steadily as I could manage to, completely unaffected by his behaviour. Before the end of my countdown, the door banged opened to reveal an angry, ruffled hair and shirtless monkey.

"What the hell, Aasiya?!" He yelled angrily, wearing the t-shirt in his hand.

"We leave in half an hour." I returned calmly and turned to leave.

"What—?" His puzzled response came a moment later. Exhaling an exasperated sigh, I turned to face him.

"You have to go look at colleges with me?" I asked instead. He watched me confused for a moment before his mouth broke into a grin.

"OH! Yeah! I remember now—Sorry." He ended with a sheepish grin; rubbing the back of his neck. Shaking my head at a loss, I turned away with a sigh.

"Be right down in ten minutes!" He called out but I didn't pay it any heed, as usual.

"Here we are!" Monkey yelled enthusiastically stepping out of his convertible. I kept my head down while making my way towards the admission office, wondering where the hell am I; more like with whom.

"Hey wait up." Ignoring his call, I continued to walk straight ahead.

"Sheesh Princess! Why are you always running ahead by yourself?" He remarked annoyed, catching up with me. I didn't bother to spare him another glance.

"Because unlike your expectations, I am well equipped to take care of my affairs on my own." I returned dryly without stopping.

"Oh please!" He mocked, in step with me.  I abruptly stopped in the middle of my tracks and gave him a baffled look who stopped give me an expectant look.

"Excuse me—?" I asked in disbelief. In return, he only shrugged carelessly, before turning his back to me, once more.

"You heard me." He stated nonchalantly without bothering to stop, while I stood frozen in my tracks staring at his retreating back.

"What?" He turned around after realising that I wasn't following him and cocked a brow in question. However, I didn't move an inch and continued to glare at him until he began to close the gap with a small chuckle.

"Oh come on! Are you actually that delusional? You really don't realise how privileged you are? You think you could have pranced around so comfortably if not for your strong family backing? Have you got any idea what people do just to survive? Wow—Princess—It makes me sad to admit that I was wrong about you—" He remarked with a scoff and shook his head in disappointment while I could only gape at him open mouthed.
