"Hey, we're gonna get you out of here and get you somewhere safe. Okay?" I ask, trying to catch the gaze of her eyes. As she lowers her head, she nods. "O-okay," she said barely over a whisper. I can see the tiredness and pain in her face as tears fall down her cheeks. I put her arm around my waist, and hold her around hers as we fly out of the crevice.
Now...
(Y/N)'s pov.
We arrive at the Pole. Jack spots the guardians before I do. But when they see us, their faces are turned from relief to shock. As soon as my feet touch the ground and Jack let's go of me, I fall on all fours, suddenly stating a fit of coughs. Jack leans next to and pulls me in.
"We need to get her back to the hospital," he said, and Bunny offered to take me. Jack stared at me, his Aqua Blue eyes filled with concern and pain. I kneeled, and stared at the floor again before talking. "No. Pitch will just come after me again." I looked to North, trying not to cough from the pain again.
Before anyone can do anything else, the workshop starts to shake violently. The whole room goes dark as Pitch flies in as sand, making a mess and cackling.
"You're all free to go! We won't be needing any Christmas toys this year, thank you! Nor ever again." The Yetis grumble as North, Bunny, Jack and Tooth glare at him. Jack pulls me closer to his chest, and holds me tight enough to not injure me anymore than I'm already injured.
"Kids around the world are starting to not believe in you anymore, Guardians. You won't have to do anything anymore, just take a break from all your duties," he said as he waltzed round the globe, hands behind his back.
When he saw me, he smiled, then laughed. "Oh Guardians. I see you have your precious (Y/N)." I could feel all eyes on me as I shivered. Jack pulled me close, his chest on my back. I could feel his heartbeat, and it calmed me a little, but not much.
Pitch started walking behind the globe, and Jack flew up and landed on the globe, following Pitch. But Pitch never came around the other side of the globe, only Jack did. Pitch's voice echoed through the room, his shadows dancing across the ceiling and walls.
"Well, she is important to you. Why do you think she still sees you? Why do you think she's here?" He said as he reappeared under the globe.
"And (Y/N). Your fears. I know them. I know everyone's fears, just like I told Jack. Your fears, are being left alone forever. Being used. Left out... Forgotten," he said as images rushed through my mind. It was all true. I was afraid that I would be a complete nobody. That in my near future, I'll be alone. That everyone will hate me so much, that I'll be forgotten. My eyes flashed open with panic before I covered my mouth to silently scream.
"Stop it," I silently screamed. He was getting into my head. He was trying to manipulate me. I fell to my knees, holding my head. I heard Jack yell my name, but I didn't look up.
"(Y/N), you have to fight it!" Tooth yelled across the room. Pitch was in my head, rushing nightmares and fears through my head.
Stop it, stop it, stop it!" I yelled as I stared up at him. His face resembled that of pure amusement. Jack tried to get to me, but North stopped him. I tried to stand up, but it felt like I was being dragged down. I kept trying though, trying to fight the pain arising in my head.
I felt like the pressure in the room rose.
Then the lights went out, and I felt my feet leave the ground. The Gaurdians started panicking, talking about the lights and Pitch. But I was focused on what I could see in the dark. It was like everything had a red tint to everything.
I saw North feeling around for the lights while Tooth stayed in her spot, shivering of both fear and coldness. Bunny was standing straight, listening to Pitch's laughter. But Jack was on the globe, staring at me. I looked around for Pitch.
I spotted him behind near the Yetis, and when he spotted me, his face showed little fear before laughing again.
"What are you going to do, (Y/N)? Fight me? The pain was getting worse and worse, but my feet kept getting farther and farther away from the floor. Then everything turned a shade of grey.
Jack called my name, but I kept my eyes trained on Pitch.
