You and Veruka have both known Verika when she first came to the ranch. You both know she has an old trainer, but her trainer was abusive to Verika for not being "girly" and everytime she loses, her trainer would beat her up. Verika ran away from her trainer, taking her pokeball and destroys it. She stumbles into the woods where you and Veruka met her and took her in to the ranch. Verika was alright for a couple of months after Veruka evolved from a Monferno to an Infernape. What you two didn't know was that Verika was secretly suffering with PTSD. Everytime she sees something "girly", she would shake up like crazy as she would tear up some, but shook them away. One night, you and Veruka find that Verika was gone, so you two went to look for her.
You two finally found her, but something was up with her. She had her hands on her head, shaking like crazy when her memories of her abusive trainer came flowing in her head.
