That Sally

Almost at the foot of a quiet French town, the entrance into a little cottage opened. A chipmunk Mobian walked out with a basket in her hand. She was covered copper-brown fur with a patch of light brown fur that consisted her face. She had short, reddish-auburn hair as her sapphire eyes shined with independence. She wore azure boots that reached to her knees, an azure denim vest, a black tank-top, and black shorts with a white trim. This was Sally Acorn, the rather smart girl and one of the most beautiful of the town or as most of the town say, the most odd. Walking down the steps, she started her little journey to the town where nothing unexpected happened. Sally couldn't help but sigh as she walked across the bridge,

Little tow

It's a quiet village

Every day

Like the one before

Little town

Full of little people

Walking up to say...

With that step off the bridge, Mobians walked out of their house, greeting their neighbors politely as they walked by, "Bonjur!" "Bonjur!" "Bonjur!" "Bonjur!" Sally smilled slightly as she continued, walking towards an orange tabby cat, who was selling out his baguettes near his bakery,

There goes the baker

With his tray, like always

The same old bread and rolls to sell

Every morning's just the same

Since the morning that we came

To this poor provincial town

After greeting a pumpkin seller, the tabby spotted Sally and said with a smile, "Ah good morning Sally." "Good morning, Thomas," Sally replied. "Where're you off to?" Thomas asked, setting his empty tray on the desk/window. "To the book store," Sally replied with a joyful expression. "I've read the most wonderful book about a dragon falls for a princess he captured and ask a wizard to turn him into a prince so he could..." Thomas, who was getting a bit annoyed by her love reading, interrupted but in a polite manner, "Uh, Sally, I'm sorry but I gotta get back to work." With that he turned back to the window and shouted, "Marine! The Baguettes! Hurry up!" Sally actually knew what he was saying. He just didn't want to listen. Oh well, his loss on not reading a very interesting book. So, Sally rolled her eyes and continued on her journey. As Sally walked by a pair of old turtles, the two elderly gossiped,

Look there she goes

That girl is strange

No question

Dazed and distracted can't you tell?

A pompous peafowl scolded,

Not a part of any crowd

Her peacock husband agreed as he twirled his finger next to his temple,

'Cause her heads up on some cloud

Both: No denying she's a funny girl

That Sally...

Sally grabbed hold of the wagon that was heading to the bistro, which was near the bookstore. The purple rabbit greeted to a golden dove,

Bonjur!

Dove: Good day!

Rabbit: How is your family?

A brown porcupine flirted with a lovely red cougar, while the porcupine's unattractive wife glared at him with a rolling pin in her arms.
