Morgan had came over and spent the night with me last night, and I've got to say, it felt amazing to pretend we were still those two kids in love at fourteen. I couldn't help but still feel awful about Hannah though. I wish she didn't find out the way that she did, but there wasn't really anything I could do about it anymore.

My alarm went off at 7am. I had a writing session at 9am with Maddie and Tae. When I looked over, Morgan was gone. I got up and walked to the kitchen. He was at the stove in nothing but his underwear cooking something. Then, he noticed me.

"I know it's been five years, Cal, but I assumed you still love blueberry pancakes" He says.

"It's been a while since I had them" I say. He wraps his arm around me and holds me close while he finishes up cooking. If I could stay in this moment forever, I swear I would. There were so many times we would stay late at the cafe and do this very thing. We would cook, dance, and sing. The Brett Eldredge lyric 'falling in love to the beat of the music' was our theme back then.

"Breakfast is ready" He says flipping the stove off. I grab two coffee cups and pour us both some while he sets up the table. I sat across from him at the table. "What do you have planned today?".

"Uh, I've got a session with Maddie and Tae at 9 this morning. Then, I have one with Old Dominion, but I'm going to cancel because of Matt" I say. "I think I'm going to tell James that I don't want to work with them anymore".

"Don't do that. Don't let Matt scare you. Plus, if Naomi finds out, she'll kick your ass" He says.

"She really does hate him, doesn't she?" I ask.

"Cal, do you blame her?" He asks.

"Well, no. I'm glad you were there" I say.

"Seeing you with him...god, I wanted to kill him. I never want to see you with anyone except me" He says. I could feel myself blushing.

"Well, for what it's worth...I hated seeing you with Hannah, but I love her, so I never wanted to kill her" I say. He laughs. He laughed so hard that the syrup on his fork fell onto his bare chest.

"Ah, damn" He says. That made me laugh. "Come help me". I just continue laughing while he cleans himself up.

"You're on your own, babe" I say.

"Hey, you would've licked it off when you were sixteen" He says. I almost choked at that comment.

"Well, remember when I did and Carter came in my room a few hours later and asked why my sheets were sticky?" I ask. He cracks up.

"How could I forget? He asks. We continued laughing for what felt like ever, but I finally got up to go get dressed.

"I gotta take a shower" I say. He catches my hand as I walk past him.

"No, I'm begging you" He says in a playful manor. I roll my eyes and shake my hand from his grip. He follows me to the bedroom. "I love you, Cal". He wrapped his arms around me from the side. I turn and hug him back. Nothing else in the world ever mattered when Morgan and I were together like this.

"I love you too" I say. He leans in close to me.  I knew what was coming, and I didn't want it to stop. His hot breath lingered on my lips before his lips met mine for the first time in five years. It didn't end there. Before I knew it, Morgan and I were entangled in the bed sheets with our clothes scattered around us on the floor. I could stay here forever.

I must have fallen asleep with Morgan after we...well you know, but we always took naps together after that, so...nothing new, but this time I woke up because of Maddie calling me. I told her I would be right there before shooting out of bed.

"I'm gonna be late" I say putting on my clothes from the floor and sliding on flip flops. I didnt even brush my hair. I couldn't believe I let this happen, but at the same time...I didn't regret it at all.

When I got to the studio, I literally almost ran into someone walking through the doors. Thank god it was only Naomi.

"Damn, what the hell happened to you?" She asks.

"I-I'm late for my session with the girls" I say.

"Are those your clothes from yesterday?" She asks. I look down realizing that they were. I just stayed quiet. She chuckled. "Cal, you've heard our song 'Head Over Heels', right?".

"Yeah" I say.

"I'd say your representing a line from the perfectly right now" She says. I smile with a raised eyebrow.

"Which is?".

"Walk of shame out your front door" She says with a smirk. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Well, actually...it was my front door" I say. She laughed.

"I'll see you later, Cal" She says.

"See ya" I say before walking upstairs to the writers room. I walked in and sat down with Maddie and Tae. "I'm sorry I'm late".

"Don't be. We know other things were on your mind last night" Maddie says.

"Based on her hair...something was on her this morning" Tae jokes. I could feel myself getting red.

"Is it that noticeable?" I ask. The girls just looked at each other.

"Cal, do you still feel bad about what happened with Hannah and Morgan?" Maddie asks. I had honeslty forgotten about it. Like I said, I forgot everything when Morgan and I were together, and nothing else ever mattered.

"I mean, I think I'll always feel bad" I say.

"Then...I wouldn't let her see you today" Tae says. I swallow hard. I knew they were right. I knew that I stole Morgan from Hannah and now here I was, not even 24 hours after they broke up, sleeping with him.

"I won't" I say quietly. I knew the girls could tell I felt bad.

"Cal, don't you dare blame yourself for them breaking up. Morgan is the one who said the words" Maddie says. I nod.

"She's right" Tae adds. "And if there's one thing that I know in this world...it's that Morgan Wallen loves one girl, and that girl is you, Callan Grey. It's always been you".
