chapter 56

Nickolas's pov :

we left the warehouse as soon as we got the chance , we took al the people who were captured alive and took them to our hideout , i sent Jackson Clark ( Eva's father) to the hideout with some of my most trusted men , i had to make sure he doesn't have a way to escape if i could i would have took him there myself , but i had to send Leo to the hospital and make sure he is okay .

me and Jason and Viktor who was by the way panicking at the state Leo was in , i drove towards the hospital as fast as possible , as we reached the hospital i asked the doctors to take of Leo and make sure he is okay , and i asked the staff to get a VIP room ready so they can transfer him right away after they are done , i took a seat in front of the ER with Jason by my side but what surprised me the most was Viktor reaction , he was walking around the room like crazy his hands were balled in fists , i sighted as i rubbed my temples

"calm down Viktor , he is gonna be fine " Jason said to Viktor who continued to pace around the room ignoring him

"sit down , your making me dizzy " i told him , he finally stopped moving and leaned on the wall for support , something was weird about the way he was acting but i couldn't tell what

"did you call eva ?" Jason asked me and at the same time my phone started ringing and when i looked at the caller id i felt a headache coming

Eva's pov:

a wave of nauseas woke me up , i lifted the sheets of my body and ran towards the bathroom , i kneeled in front of the toilet and throwed up everything that i had in my stomach , i kept on sitting there for a while , my body felt weak and i could feel my head being hazy , after 10 minutes in the same position i pulled my self up and walked towards the sink to wash my hands and brush my teeth , after i finished i walked towards my bed and took my phone to check the time , it was already 6 pm i sighed as i rubbed my stomach , i left the room and started walking towards nick's office , i opened the door but no one was there , it was strange normally if nick isn't in his office he would be in our room with me , all of a sudden a bad feeling grow in me making me anxious

"Joanna " i shouted as i ran downstairs , Joanna came out of the kitchen and on her face was a startled look as she looked at me

"miss Eva , why are you running on the stairs , slow down " Joanna came towards me to hold my hand , i waved my hand in the air to tell her i was fine

"where is Nickolas ?"

"ahhhhh , sir Nickolas said he had something to take care of and that you shouldn't worry , he should be back soon " Joanna said as she pulled me towards the chairs

"come on Eva , i will get something ready for you to eat , you haven't eaten probably today "

"i am okay , i am not hungry " i said to her as i took my phone out to call nick

"what's wrong Joanna "

"ah madam , please talk to Eva , she is not eating probably " i saw Lenna push her wheel chair towards me with a frown on her face

"Eva you should eat something , its not good for your body or the baby " i nodded my head to Lenna , i couldn't make her worried

"i will eat , but i want to talk to Nickolas first " she nodded her head as she sighed , i took my phone and dialed nicks phone number , it rang three times before he answered , when he answered i stood up and walked around as i spoke
