i huff as i drag my luggage into woojin hyung's previous apartment.

he recently moved in with his fiancé, so i could live in his old house for the time being until the wedding is over.

"hey! old man! where are you? i've reached." i yell.

seconds later, i hear footsteps from the staircase.

woojin hyung descends from the second floor carrying a box.

"i'm not old at all, just older than you! do you want a beating, you brat?" he replies with a raised fist.

"congratulations, by the way. you're finally settling down with someone. what's the lucky guy's name?" i wrap my hands around him.

he sighs dreamily. his eyes have a faraway look and i know he's imagining his fiancé's face.

"christopher bang. his name is chan."

woojin hyung giggles.

it's the first time i've seen him so in love. no one has really caught his attention in the 7 years we've been friends.

i only knew he was dating someone when i got the wedding invitation.

i was beyond excited to be my best friend's best man on his wedding day.

my heart swells at the thought of being in love.

will i get to experience it one day?
