A week has passed and Kairi has gotten better they have arrested the boy that stabbed him which means everything was fine. The boys and I won the soccer competition. "Fuck," Kairi said "What," I asked "I wanted to be apart of the soccer competition," Kairi said winning I laughed "Kairi it's to early for you to start playing," I said and continued to do my homework. Kairi and I were at school at our usual table outside. "Hey my dude's," said Mattia coming with Alejandro and Alvaro sitting down right next to Kairi and I "Why so bummed out Olaf," Mattia said "I wanted to be apart of the soccer competition," Kairi said looking down "Kai," Mattia said in a soft voice making his eyes watery "We need you do be safe," he said making a tear fall down his face Kairi looked up to him "IM NOT A FUCKEN BABY I COULD TAKE CARE OF MYSELF," Kairi says shouting at us and walking away from our table. "I'll go check up on him," I say putting my things away "No don't," Mattia says "I'll see you guys later my house," I say walking away from the table and following Kairi "K-Kairi hold up," I say running up to him "Elena," he says making his puppy dog face I laugh and put my hand on his face "let's go to the soccer field," I say putting out my hand so he can grab it. He puts his hand into mine and walk to the soccer field. "Kairi why are you so mad most of the time," I ask once we got to the soccer field "I-," he says sitting down on the grass I sit down next to him and hold both of his hands and stare into his eyes "Elena, I-," Kairi says looking at me eye to eye "Kairi," I say looking at him "I just to like being treated like a baby like I can't take care of myself," Kairi says with a tear rolling down "Kairi we just want to protect you," I say wiping the tear off his face "Mattia was a mess," I say looking at him "I know and I'm an ass but I wanna be tough I want the boys to think I'm tough I want you to think I'm tough," Kairi says looking at me eye to eye we start getting closer to each other's face... until the bell rings we laugh and both blush he pulls out my hand and we start walking to class "I should really apologize to Mattia shouldn't I," Kairi says I laugh and punch him in the shoulder and nod

When I got home I couldn't stop thinking about earlier Elena and I were about to kiss I started to smile like an idiot until I got a text from Elena:

the boys are coming over

I grabbed my skateboard and made my way to Elena house. "KAIRI," I heard a voice from behind shout I stopped at looked behind me to see Mattia "Hey Mattia," I say giving him my hand so we can do our handshake "I'm sorry about Early," I said to Mattia "Not worry man I know your not a baby but I got so scared when I saw what happened to you," Mattia said giving me a bro hug "I like Elena," I shouted Mattia looked at me and smile giving me a hug "I know," he said laughing I laughed and we made our way to Elena house
