The defeaning silence is new for Yuna but not for Ryujin. They are both eating in Ryujin's living room without any distractions to look out. Yuna felt awkward all of a sudden, her cheeks are still burning red and Ryujin kept giving her a glance every second

Ryujin thought what's wrong with her. So she decided to ask

"He-"

"He-"

They both shut their mouth, waiting for each other to say anything

"You first!" They both said in unison that made them laugh

As soon as they calm a bit, Ryujin ask her

"Do you feel sick? Or better?" Ryujin askes Yuna without looking at her

"I feel a bit better, why do you ask?" Yuna sip her coffee before meeting Ryujin's eyes

"Nothing, I just noticed that your face is so red, I'm worried that you don't feel good and just don't want to tell me," Ryujin let her mind what it wants to say, she got shock because of the sudden words coming out of her mouth

She's not like this, but suddenly? Maybe, she's just thankful to Yuna for rescuing her but why when she's been waiting for death?

Ryujin's forehead creased, her mind and heart are arguing with each other and she's confused.

Yuna on the otherhand almost choke on her coffee

'Ohmygosh! She noticed it! What do I do?' Yuna thought to herself having an internal breakdown

She had a crush on Ryujin eversince she first met her when she open her door for her, she may be denying it to herself but she knows that she feels right just looking at the girl infront of her whose face is scrunched. Her mood change so quick

Yuna was afraid that she did something wrong to the girl.

"Are you alright? What're you thinking?" Yuna asked, eyeing the girl who didn't gave her a glance after she said she's worried for her

"Can you uhm-" Ryujin does not know what to say, she's hesitating

"Hm? Go on, dear," Yuna hummed while smiling warmly at Ryujin

Ryujin's heart raced when she heard Yuna call her with an endearment, what is this feeling? She can feel her cheeks burning and it's the firdt time she felt that

"I-, nevermind, let's just eat." And so they did continue eating in silence again

After that long dinner with Ryujin(Yuna thinks it's too long that she's suffocating) Yuna stood up her seat and was about to wash their dishes when Ryujin stopped her from doing so

"Hey, I got this! Can you just sit back there or watch the TV or rest back on your house?" Ryujin got up her seat and pushed Yuna away but not like push-push, it was soft and warm

"Is this how you say thank you to someone from saving you to a criminal?" Yuna asked that made Ryujin taken aback

"I-i... I-i mean I w-was just-" Ryujin was cut out when Yuna let out an uncontrollable giggle, "Hihi,"

Yuna's hands are on her mouth as she giggled, she was just teasing Ryujin and it worked

"I was just kidding, I honetly don't want to leave this place yet, maybe some time when your parents arrived, I will scold them for letting you alone, it's been a week but I haven't seen them except for you, you must be lonely here, it's a big house tho," Yuna innocently stated that made Ryujin shut her mouth not muttering a word, don't know what to say

Ryujin felt her heart tighten, her stomach twisted. And tears escape from her eyes but she didn't make it obvious to Yuna who's not aware that Ryujin's already crying.

Her back was the only thing Yuna can see and she feels great just by watching her.

Then, she noticed that Ryujin's shoulders are moving up and down, Ryujin sobbed, she's trying to take it in. She doesn't want to break down to someone she just met. She's strong.

"Hey? W-what's wrong? Did I say something that made you upset? I'm sorry," Yuna approached Ryujin and pulled Ryujin towards her.

There's still soap on Ryujin's hands that's sticking on their shirt but she didn't mind, she just wants to comfort the girl.

She wrapped her hands around her waist as she sway, she always do that to her bestfriend Chaeryeong whenever she cries back in their old days and it makes her feel better.

Yuna started humming a song while rubbing Ryujin's back.

Minutes later, Ryujin get out of her grasp as she wipe her tears out of her face.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to talk about it now and I probably never will and sorry for crying," Ryujin didn't glance at Yuna who's staring at her with pitiful eyes

'There's definitely something going on with her life for her to cry like that,' Yuna thought as she watch Ryujin again who continoued washing the dishes

"You don't have to say sorry for crying, sometimes you cry because you can't take it anymore and that's okay, remember that I'm already considering you as my friend, Ryujin, you can tell me everything and you have my ears. I'll listen carefully," Yuna patted Ryujin's back before going back into the living room and turning on her TV while Ryujin was spacing out, thinking about what Yuna said.

Ryujin felt overwhelmed, suddenly the cold and aggressive Ryujin was gone. But, she still doesn't want to open up, it's hard to gain her trust knowing that many people broke her many times including her parents
