RYUJIN'S POV
"Hurry, we're gonna be late!" Chaeryeong rushes me as I walk down the stairs
"Chill babe, I need to wear my heels first," I went to the shoe rack and wore the first heels that got my attention
It's a black heels just perfect for my black gown
Me, Lia, Yeji and Chaeryeong are going to attend the 50th anniversary of Yeji's parents
I'm quite nervous but the girls reassures me that it's gonna be alright
Yeji and Lia are waiting outside while Chaeryeong's assisting me.
As soon as we got out of my home my gaze darted at Yuna's house. It's been half a year since I last saw her lights open.
Half a year of not having Yuna by my side. It still hurts but not as much as it does before.
"C'mon bae," Chaeryeong pulled me inside the car as Yeji started the engine and immediately drove off
"I'm sure they're gonna like you Ryujin," Yeji chuckled
"I hope they do," I pouted
"Of course, and have fun there alright? Let's drink and forget about everything for awhile," Lia smiled at me as she held my hand tightly
I nodded my head while smiling
Chaeryeong got our attention by aggressively tapping on her phone
"Stop frowning or you'll have wrinkles." I jokingly said
"What's the matter Chaery?" Lia asked worriedly
"It's nothing, just some bad bitch pestering me." Chaeryeong darted her eyes on the window
"Make friends there Ryujin, you deserve it." Yeji winked at me by the car's rear-view mirror
"Does that wink mean something?" I asked curiously
She just shrugged her shoulders while Lia slapped her arms
"That definitely means something," Chaeryeong chuckled
"Someone's gonna get mad," Lia mumbled
The car filled with silence after Lia's sentence
I shrugged my shoulders as I look out of the window
'Yuna, I wish you were here.'
FAST FORWARD
We reached the mansion safely. The roadtrip took two hours before we arrived.
The house party's not yet starting but almost everyone's already inside.
Yeji immediately took my hand as we all walked inside the mansion.
There standing two gorgeous women. Wow. They're flawless.
"Moms," Yeji greeted them with a huge smile itched on her face as she hugged them both
"Yeji baby," Both of them planted a kiss on Yeji's cheek then they greeted Lia and Chaeryeong
"Lia honey, you're still as pretty as ever, and Chaeryeong, you still look young eventhough you're in your thirties." They were all laughin when they noticed my presence
"And who's this gorgeous little girl?" She smiled sweetly at me which I responds with a forced smile
Her gaze is making me feel concious but she seems nice.
"She is Yuna's girlfriend." Yeji mumbled
"Oh really? Speaking of Yuna, why isn't she with you girls?" Her attention turn from me to Yeji
Yeji's gaze dropped to the ground.
"I don't know, she just disappeared. Do you still have a contact with her family, mom?" Yeji asks, her eyes shined from hope
"Yuna is such a sweet girl Yeji but you know after her family did something to my company we immediately cut ties," Her mom sadly patted her shoulders
"I see," is the only thing Yeji said
"Oh, wouldn't you guys introduce her to us?" She smiled at me before she take my hands
"Yeah as I said, she's Yuna's girlfriend and her name is Ryujin," Yeji smiled at me as we shake each other's hands
"Ryujin this is my mother Fehral and her wife which is also my mother Eunjin. They are the ones who took care of me back when I was found on a trash." Yeji chuckled
It was shocking. So, she means she got adopted by these two beautiful women?
"We wouldn't have a daughter if you didn't showed up in a trash." Her mother Eunjin giggled
They look too young to be old. I don't know how it's possible.
"Mother, your daughter Yeji is not doing her best as a girlfriend and a wife to me." Lia pouted
"Have you been starving your girl with that thing Yeji?" Mother Fehral asked Yeji jokingly
We noticed Yeji's cheeks turning red as they teased her.
"Stop it guys, that's embarassing. Ryujin's hearing it." Chaeryeong chuckled as she put her hands on my ear
"We're just kidding. Anyways, it's nice to meet you girls especially you Ryujin. I hope to meet you all soon. We have some things to do and we'll be back later so enjoy, alright?" Mother Eunjin gave us a peck on the cheeks before they turn their back on us
Yeji talked to them a little bit more before she come back and assist us at the swimmimg pool area
"We have to eat first then let's go party and drink. I'm excited." Chaeryeong giggled
"Ryujin, forget everything for awhile and let's dance." Chaeryeong took my hand as we both went to the dance floor
The lights shining bright as all of us dance not minding our surroundings. It was fun.
Everyone's grinding at each other, dancing like there's no tomorrow.
Yeji and Lia are living their best life while me and Chaeryeong are laughing at the two
The DJ's playing a hard rock song while we all jump in excitement, thrill and joy
It feels good after a while of suffering.
FAST FORWARD
It took us an hour of dancing on the dance floor when my feet felt tired
I went to the stool bar to rest when someone asked me to drink with them
I politely said no but the boy won't budge so I take the first shot of tequila
It was a hard drink but I think I can take it since it's only a shot
"You're Ryujin right?" He asked loudly because of the sound of the speakers
"I am!" I nodded my head
He smiled as he reached for his phone and started typing.
"Can I get your number?" He asked while smiling as he reach his phone to me
"Are you hitting up on me? Sorry but I like girls," I chuckled
"No, I have a boyfriend. Just want to get your number so we can hang out some time," He excused but something feels really off
"Alright, what's your name?" I asked while typing my number on his phone
"Beomgyu. My name's Beomgyu." He smirked but what caught my attention is the sound of his name, it's really familiar. It's like I heard it from someone.
