RYUJIN'S POV

I inhale deeply before picking up the first letter. It's so simple yet it makes my heart feels like it's dropping out of my chest.

I was about to open it when my phone rang. The screen shows Yuna's name. I didn't know what to do, my hands are shaking as I answer the phonecall

"H-hello?" My voice shakey as ever

"Ryujin babie! I'm sorry I just got off the plane, how u doing?" her voice is too soft, I can feel she's pouting right now

"I'm g-good... I just... I miss you already, is that possible?" I giggle trying to remain calm

"I miss you too." The other line fell into silence. I heard Yuna sigh and a girl saying something but I can't hear it

"Uh Ryujin, I-i gotta go." She stutter

"But you just called. It hasn't been a minute yet." I frowned

"I know. I know but I'll call later. I love you." I heard her slightly groan before ending the call

I sluggishly put my phone back into my pocket as I stare at the letter again.

I slowly open it and a beatiful handwritten letter greets me. My mouth went gape because of how tidy she writes

ENTRY #1

Hi, my name is Shin Yuna. I'm 2X years old. I have two step-siblings but we're not close, I love my father and my hobby is painting. This is going to be my diary whenever I want to express my thoughts and for now I just finished packing my things. My step-mother bought me this house, she told me to stay away since I've been giving them troubles/problems. They are in US while I'm here in Korea, I can tell my step-mother really loves me ha ha. My father died because of cancer and now my step-mother have all of his money and all the things he built when he's still alive. I feel quite sad but knowing that Yeji and Lia are here is enough to make me happy. I hope I can build new memories here. Ciao.

I flipped the letter and found none. That was it? Well maybe it's an introduction

I honestly wanna read more but I remember what Yuna told me.

"One day, one letter."

I inhale sharply before closing the notebook. It's quite big and rough

"Ryujin?" I heard Chaeryeong call for my name

"Yes?"I answered, voice almost crack

"What do you want for breakfast?" She asks

"Anything." She mumble something that didn't reach my ears before going out of the room

I heard my dog Zeus barking downstairs and Chaeryeong screaming at the top of her lungs

Both Yeji and Lia woke up because of the sound of a broken glass

Our eyes widen before running downstairs

We saw Chaeryeong laying flat on her back and Zeus licking her face.

"Ohmygod, that scared the shit out of me man." Lia muttered sleepily, she brought the blanket with her

We laughed as I approach Chaeryeong and help her up then I rub Zeus' belly

Yeji carried Lia towards my room again and closed the door.
