3rd Person P.O.V.

Y/N L/N. The sweet, soft, and adorable girl of her school. She was pretty smart, and antisocial as well, but she didn't mind. Her parents praised her for having all AP classes, and being one of the smartest students at her school. But, like most students, she was pressured into being smart, so she could "have a happy life being an accountant in the future". Y/N being the brainy kid, however, knew that living and working in a cubicle would only lead to a depressing dead end. What choice did she have, though? All of her elective classes were taken up by entrepreneurship, web design, and welding classes. Even then, she had to run for student council president, as forced by her parents. Her evenings were consistently filled, and at times, would come home as late as three. Then, she'd have to wake up, and repeat her days. Dating was not an option for her, as her parents claim that she wouldn't concentrate. Not like Y/N had any time to date, either way.

Alexis, most notably known as Alex. The 'Chad' of his school. He seemed like a delinquent type, but he was so much more worse. He was a criminal. Of course, no one suspected a thing, because everyone was too scared to talk to him. He was passing his classes, of course, but only because he'd threatened the principal and the teachers to move him up into the AP classes. Specifically, because he saw a girl who caught his interest. Anyway, he was always alone, minding his business unless he felt like scaring the poor students to death with just one of his stares. He always carried a metal pipe, in case something stepped out of hand between the faculty and him. He was always pushing everyone away, not caring about anyone.

Well, besides the girl he'd grown a small crush on.

It was a bright and wonderful morning for Y/N, who'd just finished her welding class. She was on her way to her pre-calculus class, humming delightfully. After much begging, her parents had reluctantly agreed to buy her a Surface tablet, so she could finally digitize her art and create her own brand. Her brand would vary, from jewelry, to lip gloss, to clothing. That was her dream goal, but her parents disagreed. Anyway, she entered her class, and noticed that her classmates were all sitting in different spots. "Miss Harris, how come everyone is in different seats?" Y/N asked curiously. "I'd decided on a new seating chart! Y-you'll be sitting next to... Alex.." She hesitantly responded, worried about the girl. Y/N just shrugged, and sat down, getting her pencil and notes out. Everyone stared at her, besides Alex, who was just listening to his music while doodling on a piece of paper.

Once class started, Y/N had noticed that her mechanical pencil had run out of lead. Turning to her classmate for some, she noticed that no one was sitting beside her, not counting Alex. As she didn't know who he was, she tapped his desk, and flinched when he turned harshly. His eyes widened, and he frowned. "What?" "Do you have any.. lead?" She asked nervously, looking down. Alex found this rather cute, before nodding. "Yeah.. here." He gave her a container, and she silently thanked him, flashing him a smile. 'Why are you so cute?' He mentally thought, before rolling his eyes, and started doodling again.

Y/N had grown feelings for Alex over the course of the school year, which was disappointing to the few friends she had. They warned her to not gain attraction towards the criminal, but unlike her parents, her friends had no control over her love life. And Y/N was tired of her parents being controlling, but she didn't want to anger them. So, she'd decided to confess to Alex without anyone knowing. In the first week of meeting him, she'd asked for his number so they could do their homework together. He was still cold and delinquent-like to Y/N, but not as much as he was to others. As a matter of fact, she'd gotten a chain necklace of her own, given to her as a birthday gift from Alex. It even had a lock and key. But to confess to Alex was strange. What would he say? What about his reaction? Does he even want a relationship?

Y/N tapped her fingers against the table. Alex had invited her out to eat, and she planned to confess to him at the end. "Sorry for coming so late. Some bitch got in my way," the Mexican huffed as he took his seat, fiddling with his chain necklace. "No, that's okay. Third one this week?" The H/C haired female asked curiously, as she knew of his criminal activity. "Nope. Fourth. Swear to god, they always piss me off and try to make me look like I did something wrong, when I just wanted to come here." Alex took a sip of his drink, and swirled the ice around. After a while, their food had arrived, and soon enough, they finished. This was the moment Y/N dreaded. She sighed, and watched as Alex moved to get up. "Come on, I need to get you home." He held his hand out, averting his gaze to the floor. Y/N hesitantly grabbed his hand, before smiling softly. "Alex, when we get to the train station, I need to tell you something important." He merely raised an eyebrow, confused, but nodded. "Alright."

The two strolled through the city, before they decided to get going, so Y/N wouldn't go home so late. Also, Alex wanted to find out what she wanted to tell him. "So, N/N, what did you want to tell me?" He asked, as he fiddled with his pocket knife. Y/N perked up, immediately getting butterflies in her stomach. "I... um.." She was panicking. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. However, she inhaled deeply, and spoke once more. "Alex, I've been keeping something in. For a long time now, I've had feelings for you. I don't know why, or how, but I know that I do. You mean a lot to me, and I hope I mean a lot to you. I'm interested in a relationship, but I understand completely if you don't! If you want to stay as friends, that's fine too, but-" Alex at this point was shocked to say the least. He didn't expect his crush to actually like him back. He knew, however, that she would ramble on about how if he wanted to stay as friends, so he decided to cut her off. He gently grabbed her chin, and placed a gentle kiss on her soft lips.

"There, was that an answer?"

Soon enough, Y/N's best friend found out about the two, and decided to tell her parents. They were incredibly angry and disappointed, and wanted to meet Alex, yet weren't aware of his criminal activity.

Y/N moved into her room, working on her laptop, as Alex and Y/N's parents sat down in the living room. "Nice place." Her father eyed Alex as he looked around, admiring the beauty of the house. "Sit down." Alex obeyed, and frowned. "Why are you dating my daughter?" "I'm dating her because I love her? Is there any other reason?" "No, no." "Alright, since you asked me a question, I'll ask you a question. Mrs. L/N, could you get us some lemonade?" "Well, I don't have any. But I can make some." Alex nodded. "That'll be good. Thank you." Mr. L/N frowned, confused, but crossed his arms. "Alright, Alexis, what the hell do you plan to do with my daughter?" Alex looked confused, before his eyes widened. "Mr. L/N, I'd never do anything to her. I'm not that kind of person. Well, here goes another question. How come you don't let her do what she wants? She's not happy about being an accountant." "Wait, how'd you know-?! I don't like you. Not a bit."

Alex suddenly twisted his head to the side, staring at Mr. L/N dead in the eye. "Oh, I know!" "I don't want you dating my daughter." Again, Alex repeated himself, pulling his pocket knife out and unsheathing it, placing it underneath Mr. L/N's chin. "No, I know." He smiled maniacally. "I just think that you should let N/N do what she wants, sir. I don't think that'd be too much, personally." Alex leaned close to his ear, and whispered, "Or there will be consequences. Now, I suggest you don't say a thing, because I don't really want to harm Y/N's family. Understand?" Mr. L/N simply nodded, afraid of what would happen. "Good. Now, as we haven't finished our game, I should just get my lemonade and leave. Also, letting your daughter make her own brand is a great idea, right sir?" He teased as he opened the door, casting a smirk. "Y-yes, that's right!" "Good. Also, thanks for letting me stay over. Hope you don't mind me leaving early. I've got some business to attend to."
